"I bought my Xootr scooter about five years ago. I used it quite a lot the first year or two I had it, then I moved to a neighborhood with bad sidewalks and set it aside. Only recently have I brought it back out, and now I can't imagine being without it. It is extremely helpful to me. I don't prefer to drive for short trips and had been relying solely on my own two feet to get me places within, say, a mile or two of my home. But the Xootr cuts travel time in half and provides me with a bit of exercise to boot. This is important, as I struggle with my weight and any physical activity is a big help.

I can attest that my MG scooter is extremely sturdy and holds me just fine. I can also attest that after a good workout at my gym (approximately one mile from my home), I always have an additional, very fun and agreeable 15-minute workout waiting for me-- the trip home on my Xootr scooter.

I just ordered myself a pair of replacement wheels. The originals have held up admirably, but I can see that it is time to retire them.

I wish to mention for the benefit of others, the locking pin on my scooter locked up completely and I thought I had somehow ruined it. WD-40 did not seem to help, nor did lithium grease applied from a tube. But I recently discovered that white lithium grease from a spray bottle (easily obtainable at Walmart) completely did the trick. It is like new again! So please keep this in mind if you experience troubles with your locking pin. As the company advises on their website, >>do not use lubricants on the wheels,"

"This is easily the greatest thing that I have bought this year. After Covid, I had grown accustomed to being inside all of the time. From the moment I got on this, I knew I’d be spending more time outside. The Xootr Roma has been able to fuel a nostalgic like energy from when I was a child riding a scooter. "I've had my xootr for about 3 years, so far due to some tumbles and normal wear and tear I had to replace the handlebar and rear fender brake which was easily done myself thanks to the great customer service. "I just purchased a Dash Xootr to replace a lost Roma model. I currently have three: a Roma I keep one at the office to ride around campus, a Venus at home outfitted with a bag for shopping, and now the Dash to commute to and from the bus. I have been riding Xootrs for 10 years, long before the electric scooter craze has plagued our streets and sidewalks. I have nothing against the electric rentable units, just against the people that park them inconsiderately and block sidewalks, stairways etc... Not an issue with the Xootr because it folds up whenever I am not riding it. These ride so well and feel very well built. In truth, I cannot claim they are the best because I have not ridden many other brands, but I did a lot of research before my first purchase and am convinced they are THAT good. They better be, because let's face it, they ain't cheap! I can however, back up my claim about the best service. Of course, in my 60+ years, I have dealt with hundreds of companies. None have given such good service regarding purchases and repairs. This small company in PA really stands behind their products and will fix anything that goes wrong. I have sent in a scooter more than once (with 3 units I have > 25 Xootr years) for repairs and the company has usually paid for shipping and repairs. (Maybe always. I don't remember because sometimes I am buying parts.) I have had to purchase some wheels and brake parts and that's about it. I love the Roma because of the narrow deck and lighter weight. I went with the Dash this time mostly for the lower price, but the lighter weight will be welcome when I am carrying this on and off the bus. I love this company and their scooters are top notch."

"I’ve had the Cruz model for the past 17 years and now I have decided to retire it, and upgrade to the MG model. Steve is an amazing Company representative who really knows the craft of XOOTR. He’s kind courteous and can advise you regarding the best model to purchase. I have known him for over 15 years and he’s always took care of my scooter w service for me and now I continue the legacy with the MG. I’m ready to build new memories and legacies of exploring cities. And it’s always fun to put your spouse on it with you and ride together it can handle two people of course ride safely. One experience I do have is that during a great tornado in New York City we had to abandon the car as everything was blocked in traffic and it took me 10 minutes to get home where most others were stuck. "I bought my first Xootr Scooter over 15 years ago and a second one for my wife about 5 years ago. They are both going strong. You just have to replace the brake pad every 5 years or so. The help from the service team has been great too. I can't recommend these enough as a sturdy, fun, reliable way to get around any city or college town. I live in Manhattan and we use them to get anywhere within a few mile radius. "

"I bought this model about 6 mos ago, and LOVE it. I probably put it through harder use than most (I’m an above-average sized man and I tend to go as fast as possible). That said, I hit a slightly uneven section of pavement and lost the screws attaching my handle to the body. I just think this failure happened a bit early, personally and that spot seems like a weak point on the unit. That said, I called about it today and an extremely pleasant gentleman helped me troubleshoot the problem and is sending out replacement screws. I think longer/larger screws might be helpful to ameliorate this issue, but who am I to question what has been otherwise a great product? Anyway, would buy again, with total confidence that xootr would make right any potential future problems. Just going to miss my scooter waiting on the screws to ship ;-) "
