"Must say that this is a scam. The game is give a low price and delay your shipment. When you call they quickly try to sell you more add ons and refuse to give you the product at the listed price.

You will hear the same person at numerous sites.

When enough people get scammed they simply change there name.

"Stay away from this place. It operates under CyberDealz, DigitalDealz, XE Store, et al.
They advertised a low price on a Sony camera, then made me call and discuss Sony rebates on accessories. They charged my credit card immediately, but never delivered anything. Later they later informed me that I'd agreed to cheap Chinese after-market accessories.
Upon hearing this I cancelled the order, but the rude DigitalDealz person on the phone argued and eventually yelled at me. He said there would be a 5% "cancellation fee." This was on a Sunday, the only day I could reach a human by phone.
I had to browse their phone system to get into their phone address book and learn the extension for the Billing Dept. (x-207 for those who need it). That put me through to a girl who looked into my problem. Each time I called, though, I was starting from square one. She said she didn't know my order had ever been cancelled.
Eventually, after two weeks of calling (at least 20 calls) I convinced a pleasant voice on the phone to refund my AmEx.
Bottom line advice: avoid all New York City camera places. After this experience, I read reviews of other people's experiences from other NYC places, and they sounded strikingly similar to mine.

"I ordered Canon PowerShot S400 digital camera from XESTORE. The store site states that most of the orders are shipped in 2-3 business days, and the customer will be contacted if there is any delay or change. My order was still pending when I called them almost a week later. They said the merchandise was backordered and would not be shipped at least by the end of the week (almost 10 calendar days after I placed the order). Nobody contacted me about this matter, though they had my e-mail and phone number.
Anyway I decided to wait. In a couple of days when checking for my order, I noticed a different total price. I looked at the order details and saw, that they changed the shipping price, adding extra $10. That was the last straw, so I called them and cancelled my order.
My advice is to avoid this merchant.

"I had not heard of resellerratings.com prior to shopping for a digital camera (Olympus C-750), so I was shocked that anyone to whom I was going to give my business could be so rude. I called prior to placing my order and actually spoke with a polite fellow who told me that the camera I wished to order was in stock and could ship within 72 hours. I asked if it would be simplest for me to place my order using their website, and was advised to do so.

About an hour after placing my order, I received a call from an incredibly rude man (same man I spoke to when calling Stop4Cameras, incidentally) asking for the security code on the back of my credit card. At this point I was told about the "deals" I was missing by not buying a bunch of very highly overpriced accessories. After making it clear that I needed no accessories, I was told that the item was backordered for at least two weeks. When I asked if it would be available right now if I were ordering accessories, I was told (eventually) that it would be.

In the course of our conversation, I was accused of being a liar. Once this guy realized that I was not going to order overpriced accessories, he told me he was cancelling my order. I requested that he not, and got off the phone. I did a Google search on the store name, found this site, read how eerily similar the experiences of other reviewers have been, and called back 30 minutes later to cancel my order. I am terrified that people such as this have my credit card number.

"Bait and switch!!!
The orderring site indicated that they have goods in stock. Placed an order with condition of delivery ASAP.
Next day called to confirm and was told that the itm is on back order at least 1.5 wks - but they have it bundled with some other products. Olympus stated that they do not sell bundled packages of any sort. Clearly the item was in stock but they wanted to pile on overpriced items.

"Ordered a Sony Handycam on Saturday afternoon and immediately received an acknowledgment. Expected to get shipping information on Monday or Tuesday. When nothing was received sent email and phoned customer service. Spoke to an extremely rude individual who was unwilling or unable to tell me when merchandise would ship. I believe that they never intended to sell the camera at the advertised price. Used only as a lure to get you to purchase extra accessories.

I WOULD DEFINITELY ADVISE EVERYONE TO AVOID THIS MERCHANT LIKE THE PLAGUE.

"very rude, will lie to you, they tried to sell me a kit on a sunday, i told them i didn't want a kit,(almost $400 more) person said my order will be ship on wed. then i get a e-mail that said their out of stock for the nikon 5700, I CALLED THEM AND WAS PASSED TO A VERY RUDE PERSON WHO SAID i DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THAT, I ALSO ORDER A TRV 33 FROM SONY AND THE SAME THING HAPPEN THEY TOLD ME THEY HAVE A KIT. yOU CAN'T GET AN ANS FROM THEM. WHEN I TRIED TO E-MAIL THEM TO CANCELL THE E-MAIL x3 THE E-MAIL KEEPS COMMING BACK MESSAGE COULD NOT BE DELIVERED FOR 8 HR.. WE CALLED THE PHONE NUMBER TO CANCELL AND THE PERSON SAID THAT THE ORDER WAS GOING TO COME IN 8/12/03 THIS STORE IS A COMPLETE RIPOFF. CALL FIRST TO FOUND OUT IF ITEM IS IN STOCK ,THEY WILL SAY YES. THEN E-MAIL THE NEXT DAY TO SAY IT ON BACK ORDER. "Ordered a Sony camcorder. Received an email confirmation that incorrectly listed the shipping method. I called to correct the problem and was asked for the credit card identifier number. When told that I use a virtual credit card number from CitiBank, the rep told me that they could not accept my order...but the order was already accepted and I order online all the time without a problem. The rep became agitated and rude and instead of calling me "Sir" as he did at the beginning of the call, he decided that I should be called "Buddy" with some attitude thrown in for good measure. I have worked in and consulted for online and phone customer service operations for over 10 years and I am probably the easiest customer to deal with because I know how hard the rep's job is. However, this rep went out of his way to antagonize me. I cancelled the order and will never do business with them again."

"Placed order on July 9, cancelled on July 28 after order had not yet been shipped. Repeated phone calls resulted in different stories each time -- we only ship USPS 2x a month, was backordered but is now available, is backordered. As others indicated, received pitches to buy extended warranty or other accessories. Great prices, but do they ever deliver?

(On the plus side -- did not charge credit card.)

"Ordered FujiFilm finepix 3800 on 7/12/03 Checked their on hand quanity of item and it showed 112 on hand. I received auto response same day with order number. I checked at their web site on 7/16/03 to check status of order. Followed instructions but was unable to access orders status area. At first I thought I had forgotten password so tried to access their "FORGOT PASSWORD" area. All I got was http error "could not find page". Long Story Short. I called them. Indifferent person answered but I was barely able to hear because of other reps talking to other customers in background. Went through usal protracted identity check CC #'s etc. Then was asked why I hadn't bought accesories such as batteries warnanty etc. I relied that I had found them at other sites cheaper and had already received them. He then said. " Well it looks like it will maybe be shipped out next monday. Knew that this was a bait and switch or that theuy had none in stock so I cancelled then"

"DO NOT BUY FROM XESTORE! They pulled the same bait-and-switch on me. Ordered a Canon Elph at a great price, but it never shipped (even though the web site said it was "available"), when I called to ask what was going on, the customer service rep was rude and dismissive. When I called back and got a manager, he said it was on back order but they had "a few kits available". I didn't go for it and cancelled my order. What a waste of time!!!"

"This is a scam operation. Order placed at an attractive price on 6/3. Item was available according to web site and customer service contact made the same day. On 6/23, still no camera. I called them to inquire and was told they were waiting for me to confirm my shipping address and cc number, both of which were correctly listed on the original order. Person then tried to sell me 'extras'. When I didn't bite, they said order would ship on 6/25. On 6/27, rec'd an email saying order was out of stock and giving me option to cancel. When I did not cancel, they sent an email on 7/2 canceling the order themselves. Obviously, they had no intention of selling the camera at the listed price unless they could sell me extras. Do not buy from this store!"

"I ordered a Sony Video Cam DCR TRV 70 from Xestore.com. They were the best price by a couple of hundred dollars. They're website said it was in stock and available. Two days later I received an email saying that their computer glitched up and they didn't get my credit card's confirmation # and that I needed to call them. I did and in the process of verifying my card the salesman proceeded to try to sell me more stuff for my camera. I did order an extra battery but turned down everything else including the over $200 warrantee. He finally let me go. Half an hour later I received an email saying that the camera was backordered and they would understand if I canceled my order. I called again and was told that they wouldn't have any for 3 weeks. Seemed very suspicious. The next day (Yesterday) I received an email that my order was canceled - no reason given and I did not cancel it. I called again and after 10 minutes of being on hold I was told by the gal that they would call me back. So far I have not heard from them and suspect I won't. Obviously their scam is to low ball the price of the camera but sell to those who order the extra stuff to make it worth their low price. The invoice # is my customer #"

"Worst experience yet from an online purchase. I feel they engaged in a bait and switch on accesseries ordered with camera. When I spoke to them to return the items they gave me a run around for three days. Once I received the RMA, I was told to return everything, including what I intended to keep. I told him it didn't make any sense but he said this is the way they handle returns. I sensed that they were going to string me along regarding the return, since the price of the camera went up another $50.00. I decided to hang on to the aftermarket items because I didn't want to put in a bind trying to get my items I intended to keep back from them. Suggestion is to look for an alternative vendor, lowest price is not always the only critera. If you do decide to purchase from this company, be very sure of model numbers for comparisons. Scammers!!!"
