"Was able to pay our baby sitter one time thought it was great until it came to paying her the 2md time and didn't find out until the next morning that she had never gotten paid as well as an email stating I needed to call customer support. I've had random problems with Pay Pal, when I used the site for contracting work and ended up having to call in minimum 4× a month and be told conflicting things to have my account locked for my own security? I'm not exactly sure why being an makeup artist was such a huge security issue but it definitely was a headache and now after 1 week of xoom the same things are happening . pretty sure I'm closing my account and swearing off Paypal forever. "I used xoom to try and transfer money between accounts. When processing the transaction it stated that I would have the funds by 3am the next day. When I logged on the next day it had been put on hold and the payment was stated to take around 3 business days to process. There are plenty of free services that could have gotten me the funds faster than that, so I paid to have my money **** in their systems when I needed to the money immediately.
I called to try and get this expedited in any way and there was told that there was no way to resolve my issue. They wouldn't even cancel the transaction and put the money back in my account so that I could use another service. NOT WORTH PAYING THEM WHEN THEY DON'T DELIVER IN THE TIME FRAME STATED!!!!"

After a few inquiries, the manager was able to determine that Xoom had complied by sending the money to our usual place.
