"Will never buy from these people again. I suspect they are just "drop-shippers", and have no actual business office. Their supposed phone number is what I guess is a fax machine (it answered with a modem sound), and the other number I found was just a voice message and nobody returned my call and phone message that I left.

I placed an order for 20 D-VHS blank tapes at what was an excellent price. I recived an email confirming purchase. A day later I saw the transaction charge on my credit card, but still had not received an email confirming shipment or providing a tracking number.

A week later I checked the online order status and it showed "in progress", not "shipped" which I might have expected by then (especially since my card had been charged a week earlier).

I then sent them an email per their web site "contact us" mechanism (no easy feat, finding such a link) and also a regular email (to the email address I subsequently found). I asked "where's my stuff?", and "why did you charge my card if you hadn't shipped yet?", and "if you're now scrambling to find a source for the items you sold me but have failed and now can't really deliver then please cancel my order and put through a refund on my card".

Today I received two responses to my two emails, both confirming that my order had been canceled and the full refund put through. No other explanation as to why, or what happened, or apology for charging my card last week but not shipping, etc.

Anyway I assume I'll see the refund on my card in a day or two. I will buy the items elsewhere.

But this retailer looks like a "learn how to make money on online selling" example... of HOW NOT TO DO BUSINESS AND KEEP YOUR CUSTOMERS HAPPY.

Someone needs to teach them how to do real customer service.

"I would not buy from them again. I ordered a headset May 2, got an immediate confirmation of my order by e-mail. Then... nothing. 10 days later the order status on their web site showed "order received." Sent them an e-mail requesting status, waited 3 days for response... nothing. Sent another e-mail, waited again... nothing. Tried calling them, but the phone number does not go to the company itself; instead you get a service center that has almost no information. After two "live chats" I eventually got my merchandise, three weeks later, but who needs this?"
