"9/9: After clarifying my needs with a rep from a major cable manufacturer, I was referred to their distributor in my area, Westlake Electronics. The cable mfg forwarded my email with the details required. I called Westlake to confirm the details and a Westlake rep said they would send out a formal quote. I waited a week with no results.
9/16: I called. They somehow got the email wrong.? Fixed, received quote. Called to place order and was told to pay when shipment arrived. Waited two weeks.
9/30: Called and was told they were waiting for me to approve the quote and pay. ? (I'm three weeks behind, now). Gave card info. Westlake promised to have to order ready by end of same week. Saw funds pre-auth'd next day. Waited another week.
10/8: No comm from Westlake, the money was still in the account, and it's almost a month. I called the manufacturer and expressed my disappointment with Westlake. Cancelled my order. Within 30 min Westlake called and stated they had my order ready an insisted they called me that same morning. They lied. No call was made. Unreliable, mixed up Distributor.
