I ordered two boxes of Ketostix from Western Diabetic Supplies, mainly because the description of the item on their web site claimed that it was a package of 50 foil wrapped sticks. I was hesitant because no other vendor I had found offered the foil wrapped Ketostix in a 50-ct package. However, the online store clearly stated that these were boxes of 50 foil wrapped Ketostix.

After I placed my order there was no contact from the company at all - no order confirmation, no shipment confirmation, absolutely no communication from the company at all.

The order arrived in a timely manner. However, when I opened the package I found that what I had received were two packages of the non foil wrapped Ketostix, rather than the foil wrapped ones.

I went to the web site for Western Diabetic Supplies, clicked the Contact Us link, and used their online Contact Form to notify them that I had received the incorrect item and requesting that they contact me to offer options for a resolution. This was, I believe, on the 12th of June. It is now June 21 and I have not heard a word from Western Diabetic. Evidently no one checks/responds to messages sent to them via their online Contact Form.

It seems that I must now take time out from my already busy schedule to call the company and explain (again) their error and request a solution.

At this point I cannot recommend this company to anyone as a professional and/or responsive online vendor. I'm hopeful that the phone call will change my opinion...
