Worst shipping in the buisness

"I ordered a Suncast garbage can in May 23 and after 4 weeks of looking at the "ordered" status. I was told by customer service that even though it was showing as back ordered I ordered prior to that status to receive it. As another week went by in my new residence I looked again and there was no progress. After reaching out again the customer service person was surprised that no one had told me that it was no longer available. They issued a return and a measly 10% for my inconvenience. Later I was assisted by the sales team to get an item that was close to the original product. I spent another $150 on a garbage can only to have it delivered to an unknown address. As of now I have been waiting 6 weeks for a garbage can. I will gladly choose Amazon because of the dependability vs. Wayfair which has little ownership and control of the vendors they sell. "

"Arrived not what I ordered. Contacted the customer service. They shipped wrong item again. Spent a week communication with Wayfair customer support - I never have dealt with such useless, rude and unprofessional people. If I could put zero stars I would definitely do that. "

Way longer ship times than estimated. Lied to by staff when questioned about it.

"I ordered a shed on 4/30 and delivery was expected 5/2. Item did not ship til 5/2 and the estimate was 5/3. Tracked thru FedEx showed that it would actually arrive 5/8. Got bait and switched by Wayfair. Contacted customer service and was lied to and gaslighted. They knew that the item would be sent from GA to CA and would take a week. I purchased it on the expectation that it would be delivered quickly and from a nearby location to reduce the chance of damage in shipping. Will not use Wayfair again and I strongly recommend not using this service. "

Need for better customer support

"I purchased six counter barstools from Wayfair over a year ago. Unfortunately, one of the chairs became damaged, and the hydraulic system was no longer functioning properly. Despite numerous attempts to contact Wayfair's customer service team, they refused to offer any assistance or resolution to the issue. I was left with a dysfunctional chair and no support from Wayfair's customer service team.

As a loyal customer of Wayfair, I expected the company to provide after-sales support and assistance when necessary. However, the lack of support from their customer service team left me disappointed and frustrated. I subsequently contacted the vendor directly as requested by Wayfair and requested assistance to resolve the issue.

This experience highlights the importance of customer service in online retail. Companies must prioritize customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty, especially for large purchases like furniture. The lack of support and assistance from Wayfair's customer service team left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. "I order coffee table when I go to delivery open a box a lot of scratch, and I already spend $80,000 Wayfair on the end when I talk, hire department, the lady told me to two option first option is keep your item. I will give you $300 credit and second option is return. I will give you full refund. I tell you lady five competitor selling same table $1500 and she hung up my phone. I’ll call again tell again nobody help me out never buy again Wayfair

Amazing Experience.

"I am EXTREMELY pleased with the Wayfair/Handy.com service! The purchasing and delivery went smoothly, and the scheduling of the $442.00 "handy man" service was handled with the utmost care. On February 7, 2023, the gentleman from handy.com, "Martaveous B.", contacted myself and provided excellent service. He was very accommodating and attempted to schedule the service on my initial date of February 7, 2023. I also received a call from Joshua T., who assured me that the quality of work he produces is worth more than the initial fee. On February 8, 2023, he assured me that he would provide quality work. I contacted Wayfair customer service twice on February 7, 2023 and they provided me with the support I needed. I highly recommend this company/service to everyone!"

Horrible experience!!

"I am HIGHLY disappointed in this Wayfair/Handy.com service... First, the purchasing/delivery went as planned.. Thereafter scheduling a $442.00 "handy man" service... This is where the process is/going completely unsatisfactory.

On February 7, 2023, A gentleman from handy.com "Martaveous B." contacted myself and texted "$51.00 from Handy.com isn't worthy the money to drive to your home and complete this pool table build. He attempted to schedule for days outside of my initial date of February 7, 2023. I also received an anonymous phone call about "paying more than the $442.00 pool table setup fee."

On February 8, 2023, A gentleman name Joshua T. called and stated "For the quality work he produces, he will need to get paid additionally to compensate for the money that Handy.com pays.

This is beyond ridiculous that I contact Wayfair customer support twice on February 7, 2023 (Between 11:30/2:30) timeframe to complain about this issue and I get the complete round around that led me to deal with Handy.com on my own. I do NOT recommend this company/service to anyone!!!!!

Worst Experience

"I placed an order that was supposed to be delivered by Feb. 7th. When it didn't arrive I checked and the order would possibly ship on the 14th. NO follow up or customer service AT ALL. I called to cancel. they don't care. I placed my order at Costco which I should have originally done as they actually care about customer service. "

After a month I havent been able to return an item

"I ordered a chest of drawer with this company. My invoice had two different items, different models. I checked with them if this was OK. They told me that was fine, this was only the provider using different names for descriptions but I should be reasured that I would receive the correct items.

I got the items and ensambled it. Surprisingly the drawers were from a different model and I couldn't fit them.

I tried to return the item for a refund. First try, I spoke with customer service and told them I couldn't unensamble it, they said it was OK. The company came to collect the package and they said they couldn't take an item without its packaging.

Second try to return this. Now everything was packaged. They came to collect it but this time they only brought one label for one box when I received two boxes. They couldn't take the boxes with them.

Third try. I am still waiting for them, let's see what is the next excuse to not take the packages and let's see if I can get my refund easily.

Such a nightmare, I would avoid this company at all cost. Nevermore, very bad customer service they don't help with anything, they just make things more difficult for the client.

Couriers working for wayfair should avoid working for such bad companies as their reputation is going to be really bad.

Companies like this must not exist.

Return Policy Roller Coaster

"I’ve cancelled the order days before due to issues with debit card; I received the order anyways two days later and had to make a call back on why I received a shipment.

After returning the shipment via FedEx, I received a charge 2.5 weeks later on this cancelled transaction. This is infuriating and whether it’s the system acting up or customer service not following proper process, having to wait on their Finance team to “approve” my request to refund my money for a CANCELLED order is ridiculous.

Aside from this, customer service was kind. Yet, I question the policy/process on returning orders & automatic systems being used by the team.

"i want to cancel the item i ordered which is not shipped yet coz its cheaper in amazon for $50 wayfair is 130 but amazon is 90. So i contacted customer support they said they cant cancel it and the shipping fee to return the item is $18. They cant even match the price to amazon."

Loe level product: high-level revenue greed

After many years of opting with Wayfair as a cost efficient home furniture supplier, I’ve learnt the hard way that it’s better to put up more money for higher quality and safer products.

I recently bought a table that had one minor fault to its structure, affecting its stability and I foolishly accepted an offered discount. Unfortunately, a few weeks later, this manufacturing fault resulted in the table nearly collapsing. I contacted Wayfair to see if they had an alternative solution: replacement, refund, credit on my account - and I was told that nothing could be done as I accepted their discount.

Sure, I could’ve asked for a refund or replacement when I first identified the issue, though it looked like the table would still function and I was wrong.

Due to their unwillingness to offer a more customer-considerate solution, and the fact that I’ve had other quality issues with products in the past (chairs and a rug) - I’m no longer using Wayfair for anything and I’m offering this experience to any who haven’t yet been burnt - to not buy from this reseller.

"Had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with Tina Service Specialist II, after being repeatedly lied to/given false promises by others at Wayfair.
Tina doesn't care, says she's the only one that can help/"no supervisor above her", then doesn't do anything. Rude and doesn't even reply to simple questions. Will NEVER shop Wayfair again.
