"I had ordered from Wards Outdoors Sports last year so I didn't hesitate to reorder. This time I have tried to contact the company numerous times being I never received my order. The original order was placed 2/05/2009 with my credit card being charged immediately. The following day I received an email stating the lure that I ordered was no longer available but they would replace it with another lure. Replied the next day giving permission to send the replacement. Never received any correspondence from Ward after that. On 2-26 I emailed again giving permission for replacement....nothing. 3-05 Sent email questioning order shipment...nothing. 3-09 went to Wards website and sent another email through the contact area...nothing. 3-10 sent another email and finally 3-15 another email. I have never received my order nor heard another word from this company since the day after the original order was sent. I thought it was very odd that there wasn't a phone number on their site but now I know why! DON'T WASTE YOU TIME ORDERING FROM THIS SITE!!"

"Very Disappointed. I ordered a rod case then cancelled after not receiving it after 2 weeks. They reminded me of the 20% cancellation fee which is fine, but here it is in October and no credit yet on my credit card. I agree with the others, not sure if this is a credible company or not."

"I ordered sunglasses from Ward's Outdoor Sports and was very disappointed with the service. I found them to be rude and unprofessional, I would NOT do business with them again. I don't think they actually stock anything. They billed my credit card as soon as I placed my order but I then had to wait over a month for my items to arrive!

Reputable on-line retails won't charge your card until your order ships. They should be much more honest and upfront about the ridiculously long time it takes to fill orders and they should simply STOP CHARGING PEOPLES CREDIT CARDS MORE THEN A MONTH BEFORE AN ORDER SHIPS.

I also noticed that Ward's has stated that "We Do Not have a phone number posted on our site and have never had one." This is typically a VERY BAD sign. What are they afraid of? Why won't they list a phone number? Save yourself the frustration and stay away from this retailer.

"I was able to find and purchase a hard to find travel rod(fishing pole) at wards outdoor sports,it took awhile to get the merchandise,over 20 days,but I am very pleased with the product.I am not happy with the retailer.After a week I had not received any shipping or tracking info,I emailed the company nearly everyday for the next week.I received no response from wards.I tried calling the the phone number posted on their site and found it to be out of service,next I tried to find a phone number using the posted mailing address.directory assistance could find no listing under the name or address.I continued to try email with no results.This is when I posted my first reveiw.12 days later I received my first email from wards letting me know that they had taken my order to the UPS store and I would be receiving my purchase in 4 to 5 days,which I did,finally.It wasn't the amount of time it took to get the product that bothered me,Butit was the lack of any communacation from the retailer that does.I don't know if it was out of stock,backordered or there were other circumstances for the long wait time because, I was never informed one way or another.purhaps the company was on vacation for acouple of weeks,I would reccomend they try using an auto reply email for their company to explain to their customers there might be delays in reasoned orders.Wards had my email address,phone numbers and home address,I can't explain why they made no attempt to contact me?one returned email,one phone call,one letter would had set my mind at ease.In further corrospondence with wards it appears that this is typical of their business pratices.So if you need something that you can only find at wards outdoor sports,be aware that customer service is not a high priority and it may take awhile to get your purchase,but in the end they delivered.In the future maybe wards will change their way of handling customer relations and do a better job preventing the mistakes they made with my encounter with their company

"I think this might be a fraudulent site,I made a purchase two weeks ago,received a payment invoice the next day,but all attempts to contact via email have not been answered.Attempts to find a phone number show no bussiness exsist although the address could be a po box. needless to say I'm very dissapointed and may have lost the money for the purchase.I am also going to report this to my credit card company.even if I do get my purchase I will never do bussiness with this company again!!"
