"Vulcan provides absolutely no phone help. For help, you have to get in their queue and be answered by e-mail in 24 hours. Living at 10,000 feet, I needed to order chains immediately as I was expecting a large snowstorm and more snowstorms to come. So I ordered their featured chains with free shipping. When I showed my mechanic the chains, he advised me they were unacceptable for plowing.
When I tried to return the incorrect chains, Vulcan surprised me with inflated free freight charge back plus return freight charges. Vulcan stresses free shipping to help sell chains. Sneakily, Vulcan hides the fact in a separate link to sales conditions that you will have to pay the free shipping charge if you return the chains plus the return chain charge and they won’t return credit to you in 10 days.
I lost $100 on the return and 2 weeks of emails each answered the next day. Vulcan gave me the sleeves out of their vest splitting free shipping with me (it was twice the actual cost to them). Vulcan’s solution was basically to tell me to go away and block me as a customer. Customers like me who can't wait 24 hours to answer each question won’t get any help. Vulcan's email queue is great only for them. In my problem, Vulcan was arrogant telling me how great their service was as they refused to help me. Everything was my (the customer’s) ignorance and fault. I’m a 78 year old senior and they refused to take my call for help

"Ordered 2 tires almost a 3weeks ago haven't arrived yet even though they say there in stock . Sent many emails with no response . Got one that said Fedex has the tires 2 weeks ago that was a lie . Finally got someone on the phone today . I asked for a refund said if the tires havent shipped I'll get a refund . All of a sudden I get an email that says Fedex has the tires so no refund . Looked at Fedex website and they say there picking up the tires no pending date WOW. Been thru this before . If you do business with this place good luck . I've seen other reviews that were good , not any more . A month is way to long to wait for 2 tires especially if you need them now ."
