Super bad:

"Ordered 4 bars of soap with a $4.49 price tag plus shipping. Total cost $24--, REceived 1 bar with a cost of $17,-- plus shipping total cost $24.--..
Emailed 2 times to correct this and instead with no response, received another 2 separate shipments with a wrong one bar $24 plus cost.

Horrible!!!

"I placed an order from VitaminLife and immediately my cc was charged. Right after, I received an email stating I would be notified when my order was shipped. I waited for over a week and since I got no email from them, I contact customer service. I was appalled to learn that they did not have an ETA of when the products I paid for would come in. The product was not even available and I got charged for it. Backorders wait up to 3 weeks. If VitaminLife cannot fulfill it in 3 weeks, only then, the order will be canceled and refunded. If I didn't contact them, I would only find out after 3 weeks. That's terrible! Once I get charged, I expect to receive what I paid for. "

"Worst customer service ever! They didn’t send me what I ordered and it took 10 emails for them to understand what I was saying. They still didn’t credit he correctly. I’m reporting them to the BBB. DON’T ORDER from them. Pay more somewhere else. It’s worth it to avoid the frustration."

"First the good, to be fair. Product arrived promptly and in good condition. Reps are courteous. The BAD: they shipped the wrong product and will not pay the shipping for its return. Not a good business practice to not be responsible for your product. "

Unhappy Customer

"Ordered vitamins off of VitaminLife.com and the wrong item was sent. Contacted Cust Svc & was told I would receive a refund. Was charged $51.77 and they only refunded $38.95. Very disappointed!"

Terrible Product & Terrible Customer Service

"I purchased Aubrey Organics Moisturizing Conditioner - Honeysuckle Rose - 11 oz from Vitamin Life via Amazon and just tried it for the first time today. Simply put - it was the is one of the worst conditioners I have ever used. It was not in the least bit "moisturizing'. I couldn't even brush the conditioner through my wet hair with the conditioner.

Then I found out I can't return the item nor get my money back from Amazon. Very very disappointed.

Then I contacted Vitamin Life directly and was told "I am so sorry to hear that this product was a disappointment. I also apologize for the fact that you are not able to return it. I wish i could be of more help in this matter. If you have any further questions please let me know."

So I did ask a "further question" and asked if they would either refund me or give me a coupon towards buying a new product and was told "Unfortunately our company does not allow us to refund items that are not damaged or broken. I sincerely apologize for this inconvenience."

Horrible Customer Service

"I placed an order, and attempted to correct a mistake I made in my address by calling their customer service. Spoke with them, and they said they would correct everything for me. Well, lo and behold I receive an email saying they will not charge my card, but that I will need to send a payment via paypal, which I do not use. I will use Destination Vitamin in the future. My order number was 4736695, in the event the company says something along the lines of, "we do not recognize you as a customer". Horrendous service!!"

Do not even consider ordering from this company!!

"Absolutely the worst company to do business with. Customer service is a joke, they don't answer your questions and are extremely rude. My call was escalated to their "operations manager" and she was even worse than the front line support!

Stay away from them!! There are many other better options out there.

Eventual Resolution

"I ordered from vitaminlife.com through Amazon. I chose a large size of the product I was ordering, but I received the small size (and paid the price for the large size). The size was changed before I went to the shopping cart, but it was not clear that the size had been changed (the number of packets was not given, just the weight of the entire package.) I was given the run around between Amazon and VitaminLife, with each of them saying to approach the other. I was asking for a $12 refund (for the difference between the large package and the small). When I approached VitaminLife for a third or fourth time, asking if denying me the $12 refund was worth a bad customer review, they finally responded to my claim. They refunded the full cost of the order, which was $22--and they did not ask for me to return the smaller packages of product."

One of the Two Worst eBay Experiences in Our 20+ Years on eBay

"The wrong item was shipped. The responses we received were in nearly incomprehensible English. Though we provided photographs and a note, the eBay seller that ships using a VitaminLife.com invoice and address under the name "Best Deals 4 You Now," did not simply issue an immediate refund, something the other three sellers who sent incorrect items during our 20+ year eBay history did without a question. Instead, we had to try to decipher and get through a battery of very poorly written emails only to find that there would be no refund until we shipped the item back, or so we were told. At this point, we had not trust or confidence in this company. So we kept the incorrect item, and gave it to someone who could use it. And we put this seller on our blacklist.

One final note, the fine print in the invoice is contradictory and full of contractual loopholes. Caveat emptor and avoid at all costs.
