"Delivery stated as 4-10 business days. Its been 13, 15 if you take into consideration the Post Office does work/deliver/transport on Saturdays. Absolutely no respect for customers or their concerns. No rapport with customers. Less than one star performance. "

"I have ordered two aircraft from Value Hobby. The first aircraft arrived in good condition and I'm very happy with the product. The second aircraft arrived in a timely fashion, though when I opened the package to inspect the aircraft, I discovered the fuselage was cracked. I contacted Value Hobby by phone and was instructed to submit a "support ticket". The gentleman on the phone told me that was the process to follow and that he would respond in about 24 hours.

Four days later, I received a response to the support ticket. Value Hobby asked if I would accept a replacement fuselage, rather than return the aircraft for a refund. I replied that I would accept the replacement fuselage. After four more days with no further response, I again called Value Hobby and spoke with the same gentleman again. I asked when I should expect the replacement fuselage to be shipped, and I was told to "just remain patient". The gentleman was not able to provide any information regarding when the item would be shipped. My patience has run out.

I have ordered hundreds of hobby items from dozens of suppliers and Value Hobby is the only company that has disappointed me enough to take the time to write a review. I should have taken more time to read reviews of Value Hobby before purchasing from the store. "

"Bought a power supply from them, the instructions of how the power cable was installed, the instructions talked about a white, black and green wires, my plug had a blue, brown and green wires. Placed a service request on their website, no reply after a week. Called twice and nobody at value hobby can explain to me how to set up the power supply, good products, horrible customer service."

"I have purchased 60c lipos from VH since 2012. years. On 5/26/17 I purchased #215 worth of batteries, they were very bad quality. On 10/30/17 I bought $370 thinking they had a bad batch, ok I will bite the loss. I used to own a hobby shop so I have top of the line chargers ect. The last batch of batteries are crap. Charge a 5000ma to 99% run it down to 20% and it takes 2550 ma charge. Contacted VH twice and they blew me off. "I ordered a 3s lipo battery,( G-Force) for about 25 dollars for my XTM monster truck, and that thing has out peeformed other batteries, and still going strong. The same with a servo i got from Value Hobbies, well priced and good quality. Value is where i purchase my batteries and servos from now on. The name says it Value...."

"Bought 4 batteries and a few parts from value hobby. Everything has been great, and their Geforce Elite batteries are great. Excellent flight time on my 250 quad on their 2200ah 30c 3s elite battery. Only downside is that my batteries weigh in 5g above what they claim the weight is but thats not really a big deal. Shipping was fast and reasonably priced. I don't see how they can have such a low rating with how well they have done for me. The complaints I see on forums is about people who do happen to get bad parts complain that they have to pay to send the part back. Not ideal but also not a deal breaker unless you are a penny pincher."

"Its a good thing I found Value Hobby of a forum thread or I would never have jumped into RC planes. Being on a budget and getting into RC planes doesnt mix too well. I had heard of Hobby King and other sites and had read about questionable practices by these cheaper companies and have always stopped an inch shy of pulling the trigger for placing an order with them. However with Value Hobby and their very affordable prices, I have placed 2 orders already, totaling almost $250. So far I have received every package within a weeks time of placing the order (the last order was for $130 of 40 some-odd items and i got it all in 3 days!) I have yet to test every item but I have a good feeling everything (motors, esc, servos) will work as intended (as they all did in the last order.)

So for now, Value Hobby will probably be the only place I shop for affordable components. I mean, $15 or less for lipos!? $10-$15 for comparable brushless motors. You cant beat that!

One thing I would hope happens in the future would be slightly better packaging, and simply more variety."

"I bought a multi-wii lite control board from them. Never got it working correctly and ordered a working replacement from another vendor. I left a poor review for the board on their site --- had to login to do so. It never showed up even 6 months later; but about the same time a very positive review was placed."
