And when opened by my technician it was obvious that the item had had other issues that had been shoddily repaired at some time. We ordered a tablet from them at the end of Jan.2012, received a tracking number on Feb 3rd and was told to wait 5 business days before checking the status of the shipment. In 20 days after receiving confirmation that our item was shipped we found out that they gave us a fake tracking number. After several discussions with them and getting no where my husband filed a claim with Paypal (thankfully he paid that way otherwise we would have had no recourse). On the day my husband filed a claim with Paypal VKAmobi updated the status of our product stating they shipped it (again) and gave another tracking number....which was also FAKE. Then on the same day they claimed they shipped it they stated they refunded us our money. The Paypal transaction ID number they used for the "refund" was NOT a valid transaction number and rather then stating they were refunding us 100% of the purchase they shorted the amount by $5.00 (we're still waiting for the refund). So, NOT only did they lie about shipping our item they gave us 2 fake tracking numbers PLUS a fake Paypal refund transaction number. I am thankful my husband used Paypal to purchase our item because otherwise we would have had no recourse in getting our money back. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE A SCAM!!!! I hope after all the documentation that we provide to Paypal showing other consumers being dissatisfied with VKAmobi on top of our experience with them, Paypal will halt all future business with this company.
THESE GUYS ARE CRIMINALS plain and simple! They take your money and they NEVER ship you your item OR they send you a BROKEN item. On April 4th 2011, I bought from them android A5000 phone for $148.87 USD.
I received it with almost three months delay, due to their error in my address first and then due to Chinesse and Czech custom delays, but that can happen, no problem. Package number was RA037941449CN for the case you would want to check it. I staretd using phone in July 2011 and after two months of use, front speaker stopped working. It also showed that their specifications were not truth, saying that it has light sensor while it has not - this can be still found in their chat under the product on page linked above. I communicated with vkmobi.com, they sent me RMA to fill and asked for sending back whole package for possibility of replacement. I did so, the shipping was approx. $40 and the package was delivered to them in October 2011. Later they agreed to not repair that one and send me new one - that was what I aksed them for from the very beginning anyway.
But when I received the package in November 2011, it was the worst surprise. They did not sent a new one, they sent back the same phone I delivered to them for repair and even unrepaired. I started to sort this out with them immedieately and for over two months I tried to explain them what they did wrong. But they pretended they don't understand, or sent me answer on questions that were never asked, or leaving the chat as I entered, and forced me to repaed again and again what is wrong and what I want to sort out. From my point of view situation is very simple, they promised to send me new package, they did not so, so they must refund the purchase, as I am now with unusable phone, minus $40 for useless shipping instead. Don't buy from them as:
- they do not honour the warranty
- did not what they promised (send a new phone as a replacement)
- did not repaired the delivered phone at all
- lie about specifications *
- use unacceptable methods like leaving chat when a claim is made, delaying asnwers upon many urgencies, etc.
They also did a thing preventing me to open paypal dispute, the phone arrived more than 60 days after paypal's charge, they were saying it got back to them due to mistake in address after 1 month on Hong-Kong customs but this is obviously a lie and intentional playing for time to deny the possibility of opening effective paypal dispute due to not-brand-new (used) / specifications not corresponding goods / etc. Same thing repeated when they delivered not new and even unrepaired phone from warranty claim, they were postponing all the replies by pretending they don't undestand English well, or by talks about 1 month china's new year festival, etc.
* explanation: in chat under the product on their website, they state that phone has light sensor ; but it has none, has only gravity sensor, no light sensor - tested with more applications"

I bought the most expensive phone they had with all the accessories. The phone did not charge. They ignored my first request for help. Second request they apologized but just gave me the run around. Then told me to keep charging the phone? Finally I disputed the paypal transaction. They said (through paypal) to send the phone back. Now they had the phone and I had all the accessories. I sent the phone, I did not get a "tracking number" from Canada Post (I thought it was included in the price, guess again). I filed a "claim" with paypal hoping to recover something. Paypal could not give me any refund because I had no tracking number (proof of shipment) so now I was out over $200 plus the $20 I paid to give them the phone back. This was in late September 2011. No phone no money back. Now its late December and I get an email from them saying a package has been sent to me (with a tracking number). Didn't really get my hopes up but waited patiently to see what would happen.. Got the package the other day (Mid January 2012). They sent me the same exact defective phone (I recognized the air bubbles in the screen protector I had attached when I first got it) with the same problem (still doesn't charge). Too bad the only people who will ever read this are the ones who have already had a problem and then googled "VKamobi Sucks".
PS: Before sending the phone back i bought a cable from a third party, that did not charge the phone either. The charger did charge my other devices so the problem is in the phone.

"I purchased a Sciphone i68 4G on the 12 August and it didn't arrive until 4 weeks later. It was well packed and new, but did not read any SIM card, so the issue was raised with VKAmobi Support. I was told to return the unit and is would be replace with a new unit, but it cost me a further US$36.00 for the registered postage. I received a unit back after another 3 weeks which was not packed properly, it was obviously not new and the screen was cracked. At the moment i am not getting any replies to my Emails. Because of the delay's I cannot now raise a dispute with Paypal, but I feel that Ebay should be made aware of this merchant - BEWARE and don't get caught the same way!!! "

I have ordered Pinphone 3GS they shipped it to me, but it was not accepting SIM card, so i shipped it back to repair. Generally it takes 10-15 days to get in CHINA. When i checked it by tracking number it was showing that box in china but address is wrong, i have contacted them and asked to find it but every time they were telling me stupid things, so i have opened dispute on paypal. It passed more than 45 days and i couldn`t escalate it to paypal. Because there were a message that i can escalate it between 3 days of period and i decided to wait another day, on next day paypal closed dispute and were answering me by stupid messages.
