"Buyer beware!! I Ordered a Camcorder from uBid recently as a Christmas gift for my wife as she is expecting. I have ordered in the past from uBid a few other times without issue and had thought really highly of the company. That thought is no more. They listed the item as "Demo" The item contained a broken LCD, missing battery along with missing the battery cover. Some great deal. As to uBid’s customer service? I was berated with such exclamations what did you expect for the price? Or, demo means that it is missing a few items. According to their description of "Demo" There is nothing of the sort stating that the item could be missing items as a matter of fact here is their description "These products have never been owned by anyone, they're just used for testing to ensure they function according to exact manufacturer specifications. Don't pass up great deals on these gently used products!" Does the fact that the item was missing the battery, battery door, warranty card, and had a broken LCD match the description of a "Demo" item? Bottom line; beware of any goods for sale on uBid, as they do not stand behind any of their ratings. "
