"I tried to order an amplifier (listed on the web site as available). Two days later a inquired about the status of my order and was told it's on a back order. I asked to cancel my order (their policy allowes that without penalty if item is backordered). I was sent an e-mail stating that my item has just shipped (tracking number was bogus). I explained that I wanted to cancel this order expecting they didn't ship it. They agreed to cancel it. However they cherged my credit card. It's on dispute now.
Please avoid this place.

"i found a digital camera online that was hard to find elsewhere. Placed an order, received a tracking # that never worked so i called the company and they said that it was back ordered and that they had no idea when it would be available, but that they hadn't charged my credit card yet. Upon receipt of my credit statement I found that they had in fact charged my card and it posted 7 days previous to the day that they told me that the card was not charged. After that i couldn't get through to the company, my calls were not answered and the web site is down. I would never shop with them again, horrible experience and even worse customer service. They told me that they would call me back several times and they never did."

"Retailer shipped 1st item packaged in mfg box covered with paper, arrived damaged. Retailer shipped 2nd pkg weeks later after I had to return the original and wait for a fedex claim and this one never arrived, this was November. Now in January I am still attempting to get this resolved! BEWARE!"

"I was a little skeptical, but i knew that these guys have been selling online for more than a year so that made me a bit more comfortable. I was ordering a Rio S-50 for xmas 2003. Harmony Computers had one from Pricewatch's search for only $79 (impossible i thought, yup! - they cancelled my order and told me out of stock 2 days after i ordered.) However, here at USAVEGELT.com, i had to pay a little more and as I sent my order out i put a comment in the order box on their website saying, please let me know ASAP if this is not going to ship, as I was ready to cover my ass and buy elsewhere for much more later that weekend. The item was ordered the morning before Thanksgiving (I live on Long Island NY, they are in New York City - About 60 miles). The item arrived Friday afternoon by Fedex. That's 0-day turnaround folks. Priced as stated, delivered quickly, I have NO COMPLAINTS about this seller and will consider using them again in the future. But as always, read all the reveiws on ResellerRatings and decide for yourself who is lying and trying to fudge the reports. I hate this factor of buying as much as you, but I wanted to write this cause I had a good experience and hoped that it might help someone else who might be buying from this retailler. "Shipped what I ordered when promised. Everythig arrived okay. I did try and call their 800 line and fax a request for a call back but never recieved any call back or answer on 800 line. Let's hope I don't need an RMA or something I could see that being a huge problem. Overall an 6."

"THE WORST SELLER ON THE INTERNET

I hope you read these before buying here, I unfortunately didn't.

I ordererd a printer on the 7th and by the 10th it hadn't even been shipped!!

When I called to see what was going on, it took me 3 DAYS to get through to them on the phone. Constant busy signals and no answer.

When I finally got through I told them I wanted to cancel and the woman became EXTREMELY rude and began actually CURSING at me! All I told her was I wanted to cancel my order and it had been too long since I placed it.

She then told me (after insulting me) that my card had already beed charged and there would be a "restocking fee". There is nothing on their order page that mentions a "restocking fee" nothing that you agree to, so I don't see how this can even be legal.

This seems to be what has happened to others here on the ratings page, and any of the "positive" comments are probably from the reseller themselves.

This place is a complete scam. Avoid them.

"HP Scanjet 5400 arrived 7 days of order placement via the telephone.
I also had additional questions and received replys via email the same day of the request - can't beat that.
Price was best I could get-$114 online for a new unit and the package arrived at my house(TN)in excellent shape. I'll buy from this online company again.

"Printer took 2 weeks to recieve and had no invoice included with order. Recieve printer that was defective. Tried to explain that the company i worked for is HP certified, so could verify that printer was defective. U-save Gelt CSR said that he would not give RMA for printer until we called HP and recieved a reference number that printer was defective. Now this is through some useless level 1 hp phone tech who has never even laid eyes on the printer and our customer who is has now had a demo of a defective unit, and who's business is waiting for a printer is forced to wait longer. U-save gelt will never get business from us again."

"I didn't order from this company because of their horrible service. I tried to order a Toshiba laptop from them. First they told me that my credit card was declined. They told me to check with my credit card company (even though i have excellent credit). So when i talked to them, I was no where near my credit limit. Then when I called them to tell them that, they still told me that it was my problem. After I placed my order, they told me it will be shipped out. Then after two days, they call me to tell me that my card was declined. I lost 3 days of use because of their screw-up. From what I hear, these companies hold your credit card number and shop around to see if they can find a cheaper deal somewhere else. Then, if they don't find it, they give you some excuse like "your card is declined" or some problem with the manufactuer. Be careful when shopping with companies like this."

"I contact them in order to buy Panasonic SC-DK20 DVD Mini System
The price was okay and for the shipment thay took a low price (I live in Israel...)
A day after I gave tham my credit card, Mrs Frimy from U-Save Gelt contact me and told me to overcheck if it will work in Israel. I contact Pannasonic and thay told me it won;t work !!!
I say...U-Save Gelt save my "Gelt" and I thank them for it !!!!!

"I ordered an Epson 1640SU scanner on 7/30/02 and received a tracking number the same day. The scanner arrived seven days later in the original Epson packaging and functioned perfectly.

Their pricing was far below all other venders on the net. They (Abe) answered all of my questions professionally and accurately. He was short and to the point.

I have read other comments about them not being polite. Well if you want politeness, long conversations and a warm feeling, go to church. If you want good prices for good equipment, go to USaveGelt.

"I recently ordered a printer from U Save Gelt. I asked a simple question in the comments section during purchase. I also received a confirmation. They responded a day later with an answer to the question... AND they attached my personal information (unencrypted or hidden) as text on the end of the message. WHAT?!? Did I use HTTPS (SECURE?!) only to have that same information repeated insecurely in a mail message? Oh, that's smart! Depending on the outcome of this purchase, I may be returning soon..."

"I ordered a Sharp microwave that I could hardly find anywhere else and not at the price U Save Gelt had. I was very nervous as I read their reviews here but the Sharp R540DK microwave (has the cool LCD touch-screen) is very hard to find. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised when I got a confirmation e-mail soon after ordering and then it arrived and was exactly what I ordered. No added charges, no hassle, no problems. Although others have obviously had issues, I must admit I had a great experience and would consider ordering from them again. "These people are outright criminals.

I paid them for an Epson Stylus Color 6xx USB Printer from them that arrived DOA.

I had received an RMA from them, and sent the printer back.

I called over 6 times in the 3 harrowing months it took me to get my money back from these fraud artists.

After about 3 months of them jerking me around I finally contacted the BBB and got my money back 2 weeks later.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE unless you have too much time and money on your hands, and if you MUST use them, use a credit card company from whom you get good fraud protection.
