"My daughter has been enjoying the teachers, Alexa has been very supportive to Naomi’s growth, development and socializing ."
"We are loving the teacher, Emily, she has taken a very good care and gives the attention that we need for our daughter."
"We love Hershey UGRO. The leadership and teachers have an invested and genuine love of children. We made the best choice by sending our daughter here. She had a close knit network of friends and already has so many kindergarten readiness skills. It's going to be a hard day when we graduate from UGRO Hershey."
"We love my son’s teachers!"
"We love the teachers and were sad to see so many wonderful people move to other daycares in our community. We considered leaving for that reason but chose to stay with Ugro Hershey. Since then we've seen more consistency in staffing and hope that higher management does everything in their power to compensate and recruit staff."
"The registration process is terrible. It's 2023, we have these things called computers where you can enter common info once (address, names, phone numbers etc) and then apply that to whatever form/section is necessary. Instead you have these massive packets of forms to fill out with redundant, repeated information. I gave carpal tunnel from filling these out. It's not 1960, update your process already, terrible"
"Teachers have been great! Hard to find administration to talk with them. Wish there were more non-nap classrooms for pre-k. Often a lot of switching classrooms due to lack of teachers."
"Teachers and enrollment are down at least 50% but admin personnel remain at regular levels. How do you justify these admin costs when everything else is down significantly? It seems like you want to overcharge when enrollment doesn’t justify it."
"Prior the the current parent company taking over the overall feeling of the center was much different. Staff was happy to be at work and you can see the change in the teachers that remain, and we do not fault them. They are stretched too thin and cannot provide the care they truly want to my child. Ugro is BY FAR the most expensive center in the area and the parent company should be ashamed that they have let the financials lead to so many teachers leaving."
