"I have been ordering from USB GEEK for the past 4 years and I am very impressed with their products, prices and service.

Their products are very well priced and I was actually able to resell their products and make a profit in my retail store.

"This website feels like it's from 2002. The fact you can't see your orders status once placing it is kind of unsettling. I placed an order, got a confirmation email, then nothing happened for a week. After a week I sent a message asking for some info on when it'd ship. I got no response. I had to dispute the order via PayPal and then they just issued me a refund, no explanation. Maybe they are just growing too fast and can't keep up, but you're best off searching this site for stuff, then buying it from Amazon, they basically have all the same products."

"When I had an iPhone there was this phone case I really wanted, called the BookBook by TwelveSouth.com, it looked like a old leather book and opened to hold your phone and your wallet contents. It was so cool and I always wanted it but, as many iPhone accessories are, it was far too expensive and I never got it. After switching to android, i had a look for the same case for my new galaxy note 3, and after a lot of googling, i couldnt believe my eyes when i saw pretty much the same one for sale on this site for only 20 dollars (instead of the 60 that TwelveSouth, the co called "apple exclusive" accessory company wanted for the iphone version). So i was a little hesitant, because of the very low price when compared to the iphone version, and the fact i'd never heard of usbgeek before and there very mixed reviews for it on this site. But I decided to take a risk since it was such good value, and im happy to say it payed off. I had to wait a while, but i knew that was to be expected since the package was coming from china, and im in ireland so im used to things from amazon US and other places like that taking a long time to arrive. But, i was given a tracking number which i kept an eye on and it seemed to be on its way slowly but surely, and since i got free shipping for liking them on facebook, i didnt mind at all. Yesterday it arrived and when i opened the package i was very pleasently surprised to see a very good quality phone case. it wasnt real leather or anything but it didnt feel cheap and plasticy. The most surprising thing though, was it had the TwelveSouth logo on it, the site that claim to be 'apple-only' and dont sell any products whatsoever for android devices. Either way, it was a positive expierence and if i see something else I like on their site, I wont hesitate to order from them again"

"I had a very positive experience with the company. I ordered 2 pairs of USB Banana battery chargers which arrived in a satisfactory time-frame. I was bummed when one of the pairs had a faulty connector which left one banana useless. But when I contacted the company and told them the issue, they replaced the item free of charge, no questions asked. The replacement arrived quickly and in perfect working order.
The site has a lot of cute items and after this experience with their customer service, I will definitely buy from them again.

"I'll add my chorus to the negative reviews of this site. I placed an order for Christmas gifts on Sunday, expecting them to ship out Monday per the sites policy of processing orders in one business day.

After seeing nothing Monday or Tuesday, I started trying to research the company, and ran into these reviews. Obviously, it was a mistake that I did not do this first, and immediately became concerned that I was not going to get my items in time, or at all.

I sent an e-mail on Tuesday that went unanswered. Wednesday I sent another e-mail, and they responded back on Thursday that they did not have enough stock to fill the order.

It took them five days to figure out that they did not have items in stock! I will give them credit for updating the status of the product on the site, but this is extremely poor service.

Unlike others, I'm lucky in that I got an immediate refund, and I already have backup gifts on the way after reading the reviews here.

If you deal with this company, be aware that they are located in Hong Kong and that there is no way to contact them by phone.

Bottom line, lousy service and don't be fulled by the professional website.

"I bought a majority of my gifts this past Christmas season from USB geek. I even referred some of my friends to their site. I was amazed at their products and was excited to finally have a place I could buy cool techy gifts from.

I bought my youth pastor a usb, my bf's roommate the gun alarm clock system and my boyfriend an awesome pair of sunglasses with a built in mp3 player.

When I received all of these they were great besides one issue... The plugin for my sunglasses was broken. I sent in the issue and they asked for picture proof and promptly sent me another one. Now you are thinking that they have done a great job so far and you are completely right.

We finally received the plug in from USB geek and got ready to setup the glasses. They charged like normal and even played music. Only one small problem.... The glasses only played music when they were connected to the charger that was about 1.5 ft long if that. I emailed USB geek with this problem and they ignored my emails. I have given them appx 2 months to respond and have decided I have lost my money and have to replace the glasses with another company. This isn't the service that I expected to receive. Beware of the "coolness" factor of this company... They may slap you in the face for giving them business.

"Ordered an item on December 13th for Christmas. Received the tracking number and tracking instructions, when tracking the item it said No information. I have emailed the company now 5 times and STILL have no answers on where my product is. The only response I have received was info on how to track the package. It is now January 2nd and the Christmas gift has still not arrived. "

"I ordered a usb turtle mouse for my girlfriend to have under the christmas tree. Received prompt email stating item will be shipped in 7-10 days. Second week in december, no item received; first email sent to usbgeek.com. waited a week, no item, second email sent, still no response.
It is now christmas eve with no turtle mouse. One month is too long to wait for a usb mouse. This is unacceptable; no respectable company should have a track record like usbgeek.com. I would put them even lower than the hard working china based companies who ship products which take 2-4 weeks to arrive.
If someone from usbgeek.com reads this post, please know the low standards of customer service reflect on all employees.

"I ordered some heated gloves that plug into the USB port as a gift for Christmas. Order was placed on November 27; I received a shipping notification on November 30. Item did not arrive within 7-10 business days as stated in their shipment notification. I contacted USB Geek and they confirmed that the address was correct and stated that they would be sending out a "replacement" item. Still have not received item and don't expect that it will ever come. Very disappointed that I didn't check out complaints before ordering - it seems other customers have had similar experiences with not receiving their product. I have requested a refund but don't expect to see one. I will probably escalate this with my bank to receive my money back, but what a hassle, waste of time, and money. I don't recommend USB Geek to anyone!"

"I ordered an item from this website and everything went smoothly during the ordering and delivery process. There was a problem with the item and I contacted usbgeek.com for assistance. I had a very difficult time getting a response, and finally just gave up. The website appears very professional, which is why I felt comfortable placing an order, but I never expected to be unable to get in touch with the company if I had a problem. I'll never shop at usbgeek.com again, and I don't recommend going near it.

Note that if you paid using PayPal, you can contact PayPal for assistance in possibly getting a response from usbgeek.com. I never thought to do this until too much time had passed. I'm not sure if RBS WorldPay offers the same assistance or not.
