"Shipped wrong product- expected me to pay to return-product came damaged- I asked for a swap and they couldn't manage it - told me to return and reorder. I will not do business with them again."

"This business is a scam. You will probably be lured by unbelievable low prices and that it is "IN stock" . Then you place your order, and since you didn't purchase their hi-profit kits or accessories, then your product is mysteriously no longer in stock (sounds familiar?). It's a classic scam. If you have been had (like I have) do more research next time. If you are lucky enough to read this before you buy from them...buy from a legitimate business. (If it sounds to good to be true it probably is)."

"TurboBuys.com and flyintheskyphoto.com are the most unprofessional companies I have ever worked with. I found the Canon G6 on their sites (before I realize it was the came company) and when I had at first ordered from Flyin the sky , had my ordere cancelled becuase it was on backorder, then ordered with another company. when I once again received an emial telling me my order is incomplete and to call back again, the sales rep was already aware that I had ordered before from one of their other companies, was very rude and told me they also don't have the camera, and that I should just go to the store and pay the full price for the camera if I want it. Then he wnt on to say that he owned Best Buy and then hung up on me. What worries me is that they have my credit card info. don't buy from them "

"They pulled the ultimate bait and switch. I am an avid online shopper and was just looking for a good deal on a camera. Then I called back to cancel my order and they said it had already been processed, but then told me to call back after I had recieved the package. I then asked what my return window was and had to ask several times before they told me that I would have to return the purchase to them 7 days after receiving it. Why not be upfront with this information? Why not tell me that you are selling me a wholesale product with out accessories? It does say this on their website in very small print. My mistake. Will never shop here again, customer service was terrible and was disconnected twice while trying to cancel my order."

"I placed an online order on a Panasonic PV GS-150 Mini-DV Camcorder. The price was very low and I should have know it was a scam. Someone from there sent me an email saying my shipping address was not filled out and to call them. They called me first and after I verified my shipping address the guy on the phone aked me if I wanted to buy a battery and a charger. I said no because they came with a retail box. He then went on to say that I was only buying the camcorder and that it was a new replacement for people who had broke their old cameras. When I said the website said nothing about that he disagreed with me so I brought up the page with him on the phone. He put me on hold real quick without saying anything and didn't return for 5 minutes or so. I told him I was looking at the page and that it said nothing about not being a retail box. He asked me if I wanted to cancel the order and I did indeed want to. TurboBuys are nothing but scammers so stay away. I am pretty sure that TurboBuys and USAPhotoNation ( http://www.resellerratings.com/seller8278.html ) are the same people as well. STAY AWAY from these people, they cannot be trusted and don't deserve business of honest hard working people."

"TurboBuys had the lowest price on froogal. I read, but didn't heed, the ResellerRatings comments. I attempted to purchase my product at the very low price shown on froogal. First I got an email stating that "transaction information page was not fully completed". I then got a voicemail from "Jake" saying they were missing my CCV # from my credit card. I called several times to speak with someone, and they kept putting me on hold or sending me to voicemail. When I finally spoke to "Jake", he said my reseller identification number was missing. When I told him I didn't know what he was talking about, he went through his obviously rehearsed skit about the price that I saw was for the camera unit only (not retail package), and they are only supposed to sell to warranty replacement resellers. He then put me on hold to "check" if they have any retail packages available, and I'm sure you'd be surprised to know that they did, and they were only about 30% more expensive than the price on froogle. I just canceled my order and kicked myself for not listening to you guys."

"Do not trust this company. I placed an on-line ordere for a camera that was advertised at a very low price; they then contacted me and tried to get me to buy additional memory/accessories at exorbitant prices. After I declined to buy the add-ons, the camera was never shipped. When I checked the on-line status, my order changed to 'out of stock' even though their website continued showed it as in stock. Wasted much time calling and after they hung up, it was clear this is not a reputable firm. "

"Tried to buy a digital camera online. Salesrep called couple of hours later trying to sell a battery for 59$ and other accessories. On the product description in their website it said that batteries are included. I demanded they sell me the camera with the battery for the advertised price. They refused and by this time salesrep was behaving very rude and unprofessional. Scam!!! I filed a complaint to Better Business Bureau."

"I tried to buy a camera on their site.
I got an order confirmation.
On Monday they send me a message to call them.
When I called they tried to sell me batteries but did not want to answer my question: when will be the item shipped.
When I said that I did not want the batteries, I was cut off (hanged up?)
I called again, and then another person told me they did not have my full card number.
I refused to give my card # over the phone: how can you accept an order with no card #?
Again cut off.
Finally 3rd call to cancel the order: I guess because I did not want to buy anything else they cancelled the order immediately.

This company is a scam.

"First call, told had to be a reseller, wholesale only. 2nd call - not in stock. Finally ordered Nikon D50 w/lens for $699 online. When high pressure salesman called and could not pressure me into additional items, confirmed my order. The next day, order was cancelled due to unavailable. Stay away from this company. "
