"i was asked by a company to leave them a review. I shop there alot, so I did because I like their company for my needs. I find out in email that they took my review down! It was 5 stars! But my 2 star for another company was still there. I think they take down good reviews and leave negative so companies pay them to get rid of bad ones. This is online racketeering!

THEN, I tried to leave a 3 start review of trustpilot on trustpilot, it said I had logged out. So i kept trying to log in, but it kept giving me problems. So i start fresh, login again and try my review again, it said i already wrote one. Checked my reviews, it was there but blank. so i delete and try to leave a 5 star for trust pilot. Everything went perfectly! Very shady!

So i went back and left them 3 stars and replied to the email about my 5 star. I hope they stop committing fraud. "

"Trustpilot is absolutely an awful site, worst experience I've ever had in my life. Would give them negative stars if I could.

They lock your account up if you try to report fake reviews, then they leave reviews up. The few I was able to report for not being genuine (they truly were fake reviews) TP (perfect initials) reinstated them with no proof from customer. There is no recourse. No escalation chain to dispute a finding. They will NEVER take down fake negative reviews, but I have caught them taking down real 5 star reviews. Their whole mission is to get businesses loaded up with fake reviews so then a business will pay them to get good reviews (probably fake). Meanwhile if you go on TP and leave bad reviews of Trust Pilot, those get taken down.

AVOID TRUSTPILOT! THEY ARE AWFUL, the people who run the site are human garbage trying to sweat small businesses to pay them.

"This place is a joke. 90% of the reviews are fake. I called to place an order online and they had terrible reviews on TP. The seller told me look at their ebay feedback and less than 1% of issues. Seems like TP lets people leave fake reviews. "

"Do not put your website on this review site. If you ever decide to stop using their service they will not remove your site. Once you stop syndicating reviews the only reviews that will show up are from disgruntled customers or competitors posting negatively about your business. Want to request removal of one of those? Good luck! We were just spammed by a competitor and we showed evidence the invoice number they gave was for a customer with a different name over 5 years ago. They would not remove it claiming the customer showed them our letter head with a current date. I guess anyone can spam a business on Trustpilot, just copy and paste their logo on something and that is good enough. My advice, use a different review site, Trustpilot will ultimately hurt your business not help it."
