I PLACED AN ORDER WITH TRULY DIGITAL FOR A CAMERA IT HAS BEEN OVER 2 MONTHS AND I STILL DO NOT HAVE ANY THING BUT A STACK OF E-MAILS THEY BILLED MY CREDIT CARD. THEY CLAIMED TO HAVE SENT IT ON 6 DIFFERNT DAYS THEN CLAIMED IT WAS NO LONGER AVAL. WOULD I UP GRADE TO ANOTHER CAMERA THEY WOULD BE HAPPY TO SEND IT RIGHT AWAY AND SEND ME A BILL FOR THE DIFFRENCE STILL NO CAMERA MY HUSBAND WARNED ME TO BLOCK THEM FROM ANY ATTEMPT TO GET MORE MONEY FROM MY CREDIT CARD I THOUGHT IT A WAIST OF TIME BUT I DID IT AND THEY TRYED TO PLACE A CHARGE ON MY CARD WITH OUT MY PERMISSION LATER THEY CLAIMED THEY NEVER BILL I HAD TO SEND THE MONEY WHICH I DID BY MONEY ORDER WHICH THEY CASHED AND STILL NO CAMERA NOW THEY HAVE A NEW EMAIL ADDRESS AND THEIR ON LINE STORE IS GONE "

"Ordered a Minolta F100 Digital Camera.
Had the same thing happen to me in "berkeleydb" comment on 9/24/02 about not having a US warranty. Which I didn't mind. But then I was told that it is a GREY Market item so the camera will only have instructions in Japanees and Malaysian Language and the camera digital display will only be in these language.

That's fine if you speak Japanees or Malaysian, which I don't.

Then I was told it would cost another $100 to get a US version.
I based my decision on this camera on Price and Functionality.
Now I have to reevaluate my decision on the camera becuase for the $100 difference there are more options to choose from (e.g. Cannon, Fuji, Nikon, etc...)

Very disappointed in finding out this kind of games are played. I imidietly canceled my order.

"Very disappointed in this seller. I placed an order based on price and resellerratings comments. The next day rcvd a notice that I must phone them to confirm the order due to the "high rate of Internet fraud." When I got thru the long wait for the confirmation people, I was subjected to a sales pitch for additional items and asked to purchase an extended warranty since "this item is an import and has no US warranty." HUH? If it has no US warranty, then why wasn't that stated on the web site when ordering? I immediately cancelled the order. I'll post again if my cc acct was dunned.

In a way, it was good to find out in this manner about the lack of warranty, but would have much preferred to know UP FRONT, BEFORE placing an order and giving out so much personal information.

8/15 spoke with somebody who said would ship 8/22. cannot charge to visa or mastercard for 1 week. upgraded me to 3-day. has a unit with my name on it.
8/27 spoke with Eddie who told me my order is cancelled, they are oversold on this item, but they will have more in about 30 days."

"They had a Minolta 7i listed for $749.00 on Yahoo shopper and are a featured merchant. I ordered the camera online on 8/15/02. On 8/16/02 I received an email from them to verify with them by phone within 5 days or the order is cancelled. I called them 8/19/02 and went through the accessory hard sell. I refused accessories and was told that the Minolta was a usa warrantied camera by Minolta. The item would ship on Tuesday 8/20/02 and I should receive it by Friday 8/23/02. I never received the camera so I called them. I was told that my gray market camera was in a warehouse in Singapore and would be here in two weeks. I cancelled the order and told them to credit my account right away. They said that they did not charge my card yet. However I contacted American Express and found that they had charged my card. Am presently refuting the charge. So much for Yahoo's ratings.

"I made an order for a Canon s330 then I called to confirm my order and they informed that the visa/master card terminal was down, I said no problem and gave them an American Express card, got an email confirmation for shipping the same night. This was a trouble free purchase. Looking forward to doing more business with these people."
