"totsy has high end merchandise, several things to think about, make sure you purchase quickly or you may lose your cart, sales end at a specific time, during xmas I found some items shipped slowly, called customer service about slow orders they checked and advised they could not speed it up, appears some items may come from other vendors, if you have patience you will get good quality stuff"

"Horrible! I ordered one item and waited for over a month. I then made the mistake of placing another order and here I am day three of customer service calls. I still haven't been able to get any resolution or even a supervisor on the phone.

Never again!
This place should be shut down!

"I purchased several books and two pairs of boots for my young children on black Friday. Totsy's website states "free shipping on first order", I was charged for shipping. I emailed customer service and instead of refunding the shipping charges I was given a credit to their site, however this doesn't do any good since I still have to pay for shipping on the next order. Several of the books and one pair of boots were cancelled a few days later because they were "out of stock". If a retailer allows you to place an item in your cart, and apply your credit card number, these items should be in stock. My order came a few days before Christmas, however Totsy only sent a few books and the pair of boots was missing after several emails I called customer service and for someone that speaks English the representative could not understand how the pair of boots I was asking about was not shipped because her computer said so. However eventually this person placed another order for the boots and did not charge me anything, but well after a week and the order is still pending and estimated arrival time is not until mid January!! Do not buy from this company they may not even have what you want in stock and their shipping charges is outrageous to begin with, therefore they are making a profit off of shipping as well as not sending the right orders. "

"I ordered five books, each at $1 a piece. When proceeded to checked out my total was $5, I confirmed my order of $5 then was sent an email stating my total was $12.95.

This ridiculous website says nothing about charging shipping or any shipping charged until after you have already confirmed an order.

I emailed them complaining about this and here is there response. "Unfortunately we are unable to warn our customers of early shipping or halt shipping upon request."

Thats it, so much for customer service. If only want to know that you are being charged shipping after you've confirmed an order, this is the company for you. But if you're like me and assume when you confirm an order the confirmed price you are agreeing is what you are being charged, shop somewhere else.

"Order some boots back on Oct 23rd from this company and received only one pair from my order, they cancel the other items stating they were all sold out. don't know how that could be, when i ordered the identical items at the same time. well at least one came, still waiting for items order on Oct.26th 2012,for Christmas for my young niece don't know if that will come might have to have a back up. This is such a shame for this Company to do this to it customers . I for one will never shop here again and will tell anyone within hearing distant to stay away.Horrible Company to do Business."

"Ordered from this site mid-october and havent heard anything from them, they were lucky with being able to use the storm as an excuse but its now Nov29th and its still in pending status! Customer service is also very rude - they sound entitled when you call to find out when the order would be shipped out. I wish I never went to the site!

I wish I saw these reviews before I ordered!

"I have an awful experience with this company! I ordered a bunch of hello kitty onesies when i was still pregnant with my daughter last year on December 10th. The company estimated that i should receive my shipment by December 30th. Well, nothing came and by February I demanded my money back, and they have refused to reply to my e-mails! Its been almost a year now. I'm calling my credit card company and reporting fraud! It's just unreal how terrible their customer service is! They basically stole money from us!"

"Shipped correct order and wrong order and charged both my credit cards. I've called customer service daily for a week and can't get a response. Took nearly a month to get them and I have duplicates of two of the items. I'M THROUGH WITH TOTSY!"

"I've only placed one order with Totsy because I don't often see deals that I'm interested in, but I finally did so after being a member for a few months. It took three weeks to ship (but Zulily, who I much prefer, is the same way) but got here safely. So, if you're buying for a specific occasion, give yourself plenty of time."

"Horrible, horrible, horrible company to deal with. They take your order and sit on it, sometimes for months. They will not respond to any "negative" issue for them: cancellations, billing questions. I suggest you do NOT purchase anything from/through them."
