"Ordered clothes online only to get the wrong shirt! Called them and was told they were refunding the money to my credit card & to keep the shirt. When I didn't get the money took the shirt to the Park City Lancaster Mall to show them I received the wrong shirt. They called the headquarters & was told I was refunded the money. I had the shirt on the counter the rude woman grabbed it and would not give it back. Law says you get sent something in the mail you did not order you do NOT need to return it. I called up the online number when I got home and they said that lady should NOT have taken my shirt. In the end they refunded the money but not to the card I bought the shirt with it was another card they had on file. That's not the end of my horrible stories with Torrid only one. One too many!!! "

"I too have spent thousands of dollars a month at Torrid. I have three shipments coming that total around $600. I was trying to take advantage of the Cyber Monday deal. For the second time in a row I was able to order an item only to have them remove it from order because they didn't have it. How bad of a business do you have to be to not know your inventory? Needless to say I am returning everything I have ordered the last 60 days, which is a loooooot. I complained via torrid twice, asked to be provided the sale discount for another item to replace it. Was told no the first time and no response at all the last time. Good luck with your business, you have just lost another very valuable customer. I have never had this happen with anything I have ordered at Lane Bryant, Amazon, Womans World and Romans. Guess they will be getting all my money from now on."
"last few months I've spent over 1000.00 in the Puyallup wa store went in yesterday and purchased 333.00 worth was told that if I got the credit card could save 40% my income read 6,000.00 when it should if been 60,000.00 and therefore went under review. thus not saving the 40% I purchased the clothing for a special occasion for my daughter. I will not do business with Torrid ever again. I feel like 130.00 in savings was stolen from me. when contacting the store and customer service and the bank all I got was sorry and they passed the buck. I work for a successful Airline and i have the ability to do right by our passengers perhaps that's why the co. i work for is successful we strive to do right and my experience with Torrid wasn't anything close to doing right by their customer. they've lost my business over 130.00 in savings that I should of recieved. I am very dissatisfied and will not ever spend my money at Torrid. "
"I ordered from here on monday and paid an extra 29$ for overnight shipping so my aunt would have something nice to wear on Thanksgiving and it is now Wednesday and It says it wont arrive until Friday everyday it tells me a new day! "
"They sent me damaged items. Because I paid with paypal I had to return via mail which should be no problem they said they would email me label. It took 4 attempts to finally get a label from them. I sent in and it has been 3 months they still have not returned my money. I spoke again to customer service rep today who said I was being rude because I didn't want a $10 coupon, then she got loud and said she was hanging up on me. I have every conversation with them recorded it is very clear I never raised my voice or got rude. I am at a complete loss as to how this company is still in business. "
"I ordered one item 5 weeks before Halloween and it arrived one week after . I refused to picked it up and wanted to be refunded. They holding my 41.17 now hostage for 7 weeks. No help, have to get my bank involved. Do NOT order by them. Don't understand how they are still in business. I even canceled at first the order ( 1 day after Halloween) they completely ignored my email."
"I went to the Torrid in the Austin Texas at the Domain. I wasn't greeted when I walked in the store, even though the sales clerk ( none of them wore name tag badges) was standing near me. I've Only been in that particular store twice, but this time the rudeness was off the scale!!! I told the sales attendant to explain how to purchase items in their store using an online coupon. She raised her voice so that everyone in the store could her reply: "If you look around walls, you'll see what the prices are and what is in each section." Then she abruptly turned around and went on about her business. I WILL NEVER SHOP IN THAT STOREFRONT AGAIN!!! No wonder shoppers are shopping Online!!!"

"Placed a ship to store order on 8/30. Never received it. Never arrived to the store. It is now 10/31 and I’ve called for the 5th time in regards to my refund! I keep getting told a supervisor will call me/email me.. NOTHING! This morning I’m told that since it’s such an old order now (their fault for taking so long) that it’s a long process to investigate and that someone WILL get back to me they just don’t know WHEN they will get back to me. Are you kidding?!"
"I'm done ordering from Torrid. I love Torrid, but unfortunately they have a lot of "online exclusives" and if you want them you have to order online. I've done this three times now, and it's truly the worst shipping imaginable. Every single time I've ordered from them, it's taken a full two weeks for my order to arrive. You can upgrade to 3 day shipping for almost $30! If I'm paying $30 for shipping, I expect it to be 2 day AT LEAST...Customer service is terrible too. They don't care. at all. They use UPS surepost, which makes things so much slower because it takes a full day for ups to transfer the package to usps...the surepost thing makes me mad too because they wouldn't let me ship to a P.O. Box, but they deliver it through the post office? Doesn't make sense! I'm so angry because I really wanted this particular item for an event, and it's now been 16 days and I'm still waiting for my delivery. "
"I placed an order on Torrid.com. Called within the 15 minute window to edit the order. The first Torrid Rep told me it was to early, for her to make corrections to the order. She informed me to call back in 15 minutes, once the order could process. Once I called back, I was then told by another Representative, that now it was too late to edit/cancel my order. This is not the first time this has happened with Torrid.Com. Its starting to feel like they do this on purpose, just so it's a hassle and people miss the opportunity window to call. Definitely in need of better customer service agents that know what they are doing and that could actually help when customers are calling otherwise take the message off the website all together. "
"I was so excited about getting new clothes for my big trip coming up! First thing online they do not say they can’t send to P.O. boxes so a week later I called trying to find out what happened to my package they said it got returned and that I would get my money back in 2 weeks! I reordered my order over the phone and even requested to overnight it! I was willing to pay I just wanted it for my trip!! She said no she can get me 3 days free shipping! Cool.. right. So she said it’ll be there on the 23rd! The 23rd comes I call and they say it should be shipped by the end of the day.. I’m seriously so annoyed over this whole situation! It probably won’t be here by the time my trip comes and I’ve had to talk to 3 people already.. I was so so excited to buy some clothes for myself but this whole situation has been a stressful nightmare and I will not be ordering online again! "I bought a shirt there over the summer, drive over an hour to get there. Come home to find the security tag still attached. Called the store to see what they could do for me—they wanted me to drive there to exchange it. TWO HOURS of my precious time (I have 5 children) to exchange because of their mistake. I suggested they send me a return shipping tag via email and once they get their item back they could ship a shirt to replace mine for free. Nope. Never offered me money back either. Called customer service a minimum of 5x, never heard anything back. TORRID IS A DISGUSTING DISAPPOINTMENT and I will never shop there again. "
