"First, let me say that before today I've always had good customer service at the Champaign store. Today was the worst.
I went in this morning at the time of my appointment and identified myself. The woman at the counter looked up my appointment and told me that she didn't understand what my problem was. I tried to explain the problem but she said she still didn't understand. Since it was apparent that she wasn't that experienced, I asked if she could have one of the "tire guys" come out. She replied that SHE WAS A TIRE PERSON. (that's in caps to illustrate the attitude). I tried again making the problem as simple as I could. Her immediate reply was that "You need to take that to a dealer." I told her that a dealer told me the problem could be an out-of-balance tire, a bent rim, or a broken belt in the tire. Then I told her that we had purchased this set of tires at this store. I added that we've purchased the last 5 sets of tires there. She looked up my phone number and said she didn't have any record of purchases. I gave her my wife's number. No record. I gave her a very old, no longer working landline number. No Record. I'd hit my limit of frustration. She obviously didn't want my business. I said that I'll take is somewhere else. Her reply "That's a good idea".
Bottom line, I spend over $1000 in tires every time I purchase. Some other tire dealer will get my money now. I will never set foot in that store again and I will tell everyone I know to keep away."
"If i ever have a tire problem i go to terre haute tire barn, they make you feel like family, so nice and very polite, they get you taken care of and on your way, alot of other tire places could use these guys as a good lesson and how to make you feel like a familly member not just dollar signs."
