I was able to find the watch at a store in Japan using Timepeaks service and they were able to source it, inspect it and ship it to me all very quickly. I will definitely use them again the next time there is a watch from Japan I want for my collection."
"I was looking for a limited edition (only released in Japan) watch. It actually did exist on the used market in both US and EU, but very rarely. When googling, I ended up on different Japaneses sites that had several up for offer. But they would not ship overseas. From domestic online forums I learned that people had used timepeaks for this kind of business. Downloaded the app, and to my big satisfaction I found the watch I wanted.
Regarding the app:
It does not have any filtering option other than brand. But you could bookmark and store the adds you are interested in.
Regarding purchase:
With click on a button and then PayPal, the watch was mine.
Timepeaks fee was totally acceptable (2%).
Regarding shipping: DHL with tracking was used, took less than a week to get the package (and it was well packed). DHL notified me about import taxes even before it had left Japan, so I had time to pay and the package was never stuck waiting to clear the import taxes.
I will for sure keep an eye on timepeaks adds also in the future. "

"My recent (& first) buying experience with Timepeaks was very positive overall. Aside from a 10-day period between the purchase of the watch and its its dispatch to me, I received regular and clear updates. The watch itself arrived well packaged and in perfect condition appearance wise. However when setting the time and with the crown pulled out, the minute hand is loose/not secure and moves freely between two minute indicators which makes setting the time accurately a little difficult. It would have been good if this was detected at the time of inspection. Lastly, it would be convenient if customers could pay directly using their credit card rather than paypal. However, overall I am a satisfied customer and will use your services again in the future. "
