"I started the process of getting new shutters shortly after I purchased my home. I loved the home but the front just looked silly. The shutters the builder had added on were the standard plastic/vinyl stick on shutters that were too small for the windows. I didn't know much about shutters, but I knew the current ones looked silly and out of place (as so many do nowadays) and that the bay window in front had no business having them! I looked around at some of the options, and even though I had standard sized windows, the quality of the other sellers just didn't add up. I had heard about Timberlane from a friend, so I checked them out, too. I am lucky enough to live nearby so I could to to their showroom (but it's not critical, the details and descriptions on their website are extensive!) and met the teams there, and even took a tour of the factory, which is where each shutter is made and assembled by hand. It's really an incredible experience. My shutters look great on my home. I love them, and now my home really stands out in the crowd of similar homes in the neighborhood. It also makes it obvious that the other homes have the wrong size shutters!"
