Won't honor price.

"Pretty simple - ordered a not current MacBook air for a good price (just over $700). A few days later they sent an email saying it was a pricing error and they will be cancelling any orders for this item. I barely ever shop here, but that's the last time. I get the issue, if you had an incorrect price listed (you need some process improvement, this is easy to avoid with proper backend automation and processes) but it's not so low that you're going to take some massive financial hit by honoring the price you listed.

Email from TD:
Thank you for your recent order. Unfortunately, due to incorrect pricing resulting from technical issues we are unable to fulfill your order.

Consistent with our terms of service, we are cancelling all orders that were impacted by the incorrect pricing. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

"Purchased an iPad that they later canceled due to their price error. I missed out on another deal due to their mistake. Not Happy"

Complete indifference towards their customers. Take it or leave it attitude.

"As posted by another customer, TigerDirect canceled my order for an iPad Pro with no indication about the cancellation. No apology, no nothing. Nada. I bought an iPad Pro from them expecting delivery this week. I sold my 2018 iPad Pro to accrue funds to pay for my new unit. When I checked on delivery status, the order said it was pending review. When I checked back later on the website, it indicated that my order has been canceled.

I contacted customer support about this through their email link, explaining that I had sold my own IPad Pro unit because of their offer. What I got back was a boiler plate, don’t give a damn type of response.

I will never do business with this company again, and will delete my account. Amazon under Bezos puts customers first. this company clearly takes a different approach to customers. They clearly could care less.

Repeatedly refused to accept my email address, then cancelled my order without telling me

"Upon trying to make purchase I was told over and over that my email address was not valid. Finally I backed out and used PayPal, which had no issues. Three days later I contacted TigerDisgust to ask when my products would arrive and was told the company had received my order and then cancelled it without informing me. I was waiting for delivery for a purchase that the company had already cancelled.

No Trust

"The retailer accepted and payment for literally thousands of Apple products they had listed for sale around the first weekend of Feb. 2023. Tiger Direct decided Monday 2/6/23 that they would unilaterally cancel and not honor any of the sales they accepted. They did not contact the customer's orders they cancelled. Now's here's the problem. If this was a mistake, is their online order processing site a "Flying Dutchman" all weekend long? No one was minding the store when thousands of transactions were being processed? If there was any monitoring of the site, Tiger Direct couldn't have missed the bump in Apple products sales and investigated, I would expect that behavior of any trustworthy online retailer. Well I was taught a lesson from the reorganized Tiger Direct, stay away. There seems to be little to no oversight on their sites performance or security. "

Great Product Price - Costly Shipping

"The price was great for a 12.9" M2 iPad 128GB. The site integration with PayPal was also convenient. The shipping referenced $9.99 on the site and during the initial checkout steps. Once the zip code was entered, the price jumped to $25.96. Again the price for the device was great. Advertising low-cost shipping on your main product page should remain true, or at least add a disclaimer. "
