got scammed. DOUBLE SOLD TICKETS. WOULDNT HELP AT ALL. ZERO SERVICE

"Bought tickets to the cavs vs magic game 2-24-24. I found out at arrival I had to transfer tickets to the seat geek app to use. While at the counter getting help from the cavs box office, I was told my tickets were already scanned / used. I then spent ah hour on the phone with ticketmaster. The woman was ZERO help and I was told I would get a call the next day. By now, the game was half over, but we were meeting 12 people from out of town and had to buy new tickets at the box office. 2 hours already wasted.

I didn’t get a call back the next day so I called again. I was transferred twice and then another rep told me a case was never even filed the day before. She literally nid nothing at all. New rep was just as bad, but gave me a ticket #. Wouldn’t transfer me to a supervisor, zero attempt to help. Their platform allowed a seller to double sell the tickets. Their platform helped them scam me and they will not do anything to help. I will no longer use ticketmaster and I urge everyone to take their business elsewhere. I will have to file a credit card dispute it appears. Stay away from this company for the fact that their service is trash if not for the fact it isn’t a safe platform either.

I'm not getting payment from my ticket in resale

"They keep sending me email after email, asking for pictures - yes, photos - from my bank detailes to be able to pay me! Nice. Now they have access to personal details cause pic of my passport, ID or driving licence we necessary too. Soon I will be waiting my bank to tell me that someone is trying to get access to my account. Why not credit my card, the one I used for payment originally, that's what companies usually do. And have been doing. Can not recomment selling any ticket via Ticketmaster resale. "

Ticker master ripped me off

"I purchased tickets to see Rod Stewart on September 2nd, 2023. I paid in full long before the concert. We could not make it so we decided to sell on Ticketmaster. BIG MISTAKE ! My tickets sold within hours of me listing them. Ticketmaster got paid by the our son who I sold the tickets to. They also charged me a fee for the sale. I have yet to receive my money weeks after the sale. In essence they have been paid twice ( in full ) fir the same tickets. Once by me when I bought them and once by the person who bought them from me. I am out $600 on this. My advice, stay away from Ticketmaster. "

Do not trust TM’s transfer option

"My tickets to Coldplay vancouver were voided suddenly without any notification.I talked to customer service at Ticketmaster and they said the original purchaser decided to get a refund and they refunded him.  He said ticket master has no control over their accounts and if the original purchase or decides to get refund for the tickets at any point, even after he  them he can !!!!!! the original purchaser is a friend and I bought the ticket through transfer option on Ticketmaster at original price; he says he never asked for a refund. As we both are following up on this, I am concerned about how TM is managing our accounts!!!!! No matter who I bought these tickets from, the tickets were in my account a couple of weeks ago and they belonged to me. Ticketmaster failed to provide security to me as a ticket holder; they decided to refund the first purchaser , when doing so they failed to see that the tickets are in somebody else’s account; but they did not fail to remove them from that person’s account !!!!! Can you believe that?
I guess this is the way they want to stop tickets being sold on black market so they are the ones who can sell tickets two times and more expensive for the second time. This is the last time I will buy from Ticketmaster. Shame!
And never trust the transfer option on TM app and TM as a whole! Ticketmaster rubs us to sell the tickets again at market value! Unacceptable

"Despite IRS doc filled out 2 months ago, i am waiting for payment on an event from 6 weeks ago. Took 3 days for a rep to return my email. The Ag should be involved in this. They are holding cash from the day of sale and continuing this habit for weeks after the event."

"this company needs to be reported to ALL attorney generals as a Crooked co from offshore , it is NOT accredited by BBB or any site as they dont answer to anything, they should be banned from doing business from all states and internet, they are stealing from people everyday and they fake it when you try to buy tickets and dont tell who they are, is there a attorney that will take this on contingent?"

Horrible, they don’t pay you your share of the ticket sales!

"Put tickets up for sale in January. Did the IRS thing, verified my bank account. Tickets sold 2/2/23. Got an email that I would be paid 5-7 days. It’s been weeks. I contacted customer service and they claim they paid me that day 2/2/23 and it went through and to contact my bank. There never was a payment from them besides the micro deposit used to verify my account. They owe me 385.64. Every time I contact customer service I get the same bs answer that I’ve been paid which is false. I have made a complaint with BBB and we’re going in the same circle they claim they paid me and they have not. I even attached my bank records to prove it. We’ll see if I ever get my money. So essentially they took my money when I bought the tickets and took the money from the person that bought them on the resale, so they get double and I get nothing. "

Resold tickets unpaid

"The event was 2 months ago, never got paid. Updated the payment details, verified my ID, still unpaid. Basically impossible to contact, and they say that I need to wait until my identity is verified. Seems like a scam, useless company with an impossible contact system. Don't use"

Sold my tickets, still waiting for my money after weeks

"When i try to get answers through their site, I felt as If I was on a scam website. I tried to go into the desktop site and everything started working. I entered the chat room to get answers but all I got was "please wait"

It's been 2 weeks after my event and I still haven't got paid. I wish I would have noticed these poor reviews before using Ticketmaster. Now, I will be forced to file through either my bank or Paypal in hopes of getting my money back.

Not being paid for my sold tickets

"I sold tickets purchased on Ticketmaster and was told I would receive payment 7 to 10 days after the date of the concert.They have my correct debit card number and I have received Nothing. I cant reach a human being and just receive canned messages in response to my emails that dont even have anything to do with the issue! Never again!"

"I received a gift card from my sister for Christmas, and it's proven to be a nightmare to use. I've tried all week to redeem the gift card on an event with no luck. The online documentation for redeeming the gc shows a button to apply the gift card code which does not exist in the checkout UI. The customer service phone number tells you to submit a ticket online and then automatically hangs up, but to submit a ticket you need to have already placed an order to have an order reference. I work in software, so understand and appreciate that bugs can occur. BUT, it is unacceptable to have ZERO path to contact support without an existing order. What a terrible, terrible company. I will NEVER use Ticketmaster again."
