"As a dog trainer and foster mom (45+ dogs in 4 years and still going!) I’ve seen dogs with all issues and in all kinds of food. Kibbles of some of the worst quality, filled with artificial and rendered ingredients. Almost every dog on commercial kibble has had some sort of health issue (from skin, to GI, to cancer). The dogs that come in on Honest Kitchen food not only love it and are eager to train for it, but also are in amazing shape. Their skin and fur is beautiful, with A+ stool quality. I decided to make the HK switch with the most recent foster pup, Ted, who was shut-down, itchy, not willing to eat from our hands, and barely eating the high-quality kibble we offered. Within two weeks his dandruff and itching is gone, and mealtime has helped really bring him out of his shell, and helped show him that eating out of our hands is okay! He DANCES for his food instead of cowering by the wall picking at it. "
