"Our bulldog was days out of surgery after months of awful GI issues. He was eventually diagnosed with PLE and lymphangiectasia, after the successful removal of a gallbladder tumor (yay!). The prescription diets kept being recommended as the only low-low fat diet he could manage. I was determined to figure it out otherwise. He was a mess on those diets —- restless nights, really smelly (and he’s already a bulldog), and stomach noises that would keep you awake at night. I came across THK in my weeks of research and reading (I had a 17 yr old JRT... how have I not been turned on to them before now?!)... Several other owners in the same scenario (Thanks, Louie’s mom!) kept talking about “Preference” and I had to try it for our own boy. Within a week it was clear. "The website is terrible which makes me want to go back to Chewy. The recurring order is great but only if you use the exact same products. You need to be able to add to an order or change it completely and customer service was a joke. Never got a real person just emails and those didn’t solve the problem so they told me to call back just got a recording again and no call back. The website needs to be updated like all the other online foods have. It is very frustrating not sure I will bother again. They have great food but this experience has soured my opinion if the company and I have been using them for many years. Recurring orders are for convenience not 3 days of calling, emailing, etc and get nowhere. I left my number in my last email and no one has called back in 3 days!!!"
