Shoes have never shipped no refund received

"I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered two pairs of shoes on the website. It’s been over a month with no change in the tracking information. I’ve called to speak with customer service several times, the last time I was hung up on while waiting for the associate to “check the order.” I’ve now sent at least 4 emails requesting a refund with a verbal request by telephone. I think it’s time to contact the BBB. I’m very disappointed because I’ve bought my shoes from this company for years when there were actual stores near by. I will not give up until this issue is resolved!"

WORST online Store to buy Shoes

"First time ever bought 2 pairs of shoes and both arrived late. Email stated it was delivered but it was not and they had to find it. They make you PAY for the free shipping, ie they take no responsibility that you get your purchase unless you pay to insure it). Both items were inaccurately described and 2 times bigger than normal shoe sizes (and these are name brands so it is kind of fishy). To return you are not allowed a refund you get credit. spend 3 hours trying to find a decent pair of shoes but all were overpriced or they had NOTHING in stock. Tried to buy Orthopedic inserts but they had NON in stock for sports and the service person said they have no idea when they will get more and they could not notify me when they did have any in stock- i would need to keep checking in. The Website is slower than DIAL up internet years ago- ULTRA slow. What a waste of time. NEVER AGAIN! Will warn everyone NOT to SHOP here! My mom used to shop here years ago and it was not like this at all.. SAD! Walking company is scam. "

Ordered and Still Not Received

"I ordered some shoes on 05.21.22. I continued to reach out to customer service to see if and when the shoes would be shipped. I kept being told they don’t know when the shoes will ship and they moved their warehouse from the east coast to the west coast. On 06.10.22, I received an email that my order was cancelled because they don’t have enough stock. I went online and it showed there were 3 pairs of the exact shoe and size in stock. I called customer service, who placed a new order for me. The site stated “in stock and ready to ship”, but the representative said they don’t know when the shoes will be shipped. It is now 07.01.22 and still no shipment. I’m beyond disappointed, as The Walking Company has been my shoe store for years. "

Lost order ??????

"I ordered 2 pairs of shoes as gifts $200. Also purchasing the added insurance on April 1 .I noticed on the website that there might be a delay due to inventory , which i understood .Its now over 2 weeks several emails and calls and all I received was insoles .....no shoes and not even a shipping confirmation and they still can't give me any idea when they will ship .This is very poor service and if I didn't need these shoes would cancel the entire order .Shoes are great but if you need the shoes before Xmas dont bother ordering ."

The Walking Company...Profit over Customer Service

"I ordered a pair of shoes to give as a gift for the holidays. I did so because I was assured they were in stock. After waiting for a couple of weeks I finally emailed them and asked when they would arrive. I was told that they were no longer in stock. This might have been fine except if I hadn't asked, I would have never been told they would not be sent. Again another company that puts profit over customer service. "

"Walking Co. Online's "Happy return policy" is not so happy. I am Ok with the $10+ $2.95 return shipping fee for two pairs of shoes. I wanted to exchange one pair for a different color and the other for different style. I received a "first time purchase discount" for 20%. Hannah at Customer Service would not let me apply the 20% discount to the exchange pairs. I had to pay full price! Why? I felt I was being punished for buying their shoes. Makes no sense. Watch out for the fine print for the "exceptions" of their happy returns policy, it might easily turn into an "unhappy" (non) return policy. So I had to return both pairs for refund! Conclusion: Never buy from there again. Went to Kloggs Footwear (directly online) who has a real interest in "happy" customers and used their discount code instead. A much better customer experience."

Poor Company for Returns

"I purchase a pair of shoes that didn't fit well so I returned them. Here is my experience.

1. It was difficult to figure out how to return my product. There were no clear instructions on the order confirmation. I just sent a request to the Customer Service email and it took 24 hours to get a response.
2. They charge $10 for returns.
3. Their return policy is terrible. "All items must be returned in original shoe box/packaging and placed inside a shipping box. Any damage to the original box (tape, shipping labels, or markings) will void any return and result in the items being returned to you."
4. You cannot leave a review on their site. They show a review of 4.8. That has got to be made up by the company.

After this experience, I would not buy from this company again.

Free Returns are NOT Free!

"Bout some shoes that did not fit online. Tried to go to one of their stores here in Vegas only to find out that all THREE locations that are still listed as open have ALL closed. Wasted an hour going to all these former store locations. I wanted to exchange the shoe for a smaller size. Given all the hassle I went thru, I was done with this merchant . . . so I decided to return the shoes . . . but to do so, they charge you $10 for the return shipping. So they lied about the free returns. I will NEVER do business with this company again and will encourage everyone I know not do do so either. With all the store closings . . . it looks like they are heading towards bankruptcy; I certainly won't feel sorry for them if this happens."

I cancelled order same day purchased

"I purchase a pair of shoes on 5/27 at 10 am. At 11:30 am I requested to cancel the order. No answer. 5/28, I sent email requesting to cancel order, no answer. I called 5/29 and had to leave a voicemail requesting cancelling order. Guess what, received email on 5/30 that order is shipped and I emailed them again asking why since I requested a cancellation. THEY ANSWERED THIS ONE. Said they can’t cancel the order since item is shipped. I will never order from this company again. Customer service is the worst. Stick to Amazon guys!! "

Awful customer service beware

"I ordered 2 pair of sneakers from the waking store , when using the drop down prompt I made a mistake I did get the right street number , right city , state and zip code . I put the wrong street name . So I called fed ex they were very nice explained what happened and I understood they couldn’t just change it per me of course they didn’t know who I was . They said call the sender the walking store they can call us we verify there account and it literally takes one minute to correct , sounds simple absolutely not . I talked to three young ladies one at least documented my correct street name , the other two should have a job stocking shoes not speaking with the public"

"I returned the shoes and they want to give me a store credit because they said that the box was damaged. I disagree because the box was the same as I got it. I will never stop with the walking company again. The customer service needs work. The customer is always right."
