"I ordered 2 bowls to compliment a set I have had for some time. I thought I would just go online and buy 2 bowls.
Didn’t like them- they were soo tiny. Worthless for anything but like a candy dish.
Anyway. Return them and have to pay my return. Costs almost as much as my items.
Terrible.
Don’t buy from this company online unless you’re positive 1000% what you’re getting. "
"Let me let everyone know if you order from this company the only way you can return something is if it is damaged or a defect. They will not let you return it free of charge if you do not like the product when you get it I had to pay $40 to return the dishes that I did not like when I received them. They told me they would only replace what was broken and that the expense was on me for the returned of the dishes so my advice to you is just make sure that you absolutely love what you order because if you change your mind they will not accept them back."
"I submitted an order though suspicious since no delivery date stated for free delivery. After checking their reviews, most of which were horrible regarding POOR QUALITY OF PRODUCTS, I CANCELLED order about 40 minutes later. They refused to cancel my order, never said where they were, and never gave a delivery date. Thus far, 2 days later, they have REFUSED TO CONFIRM MY CANCELLATION though I have learned they IMMEDIATELY CHARGED MY CARD. I have cancelled the card and disputed their charges. I would give them 0-STARS if I could instead of 1. Do NOT do business with Pfaltzgraff, who misleads using German name and website lies and says "Made in USA". "
"Do not order from this company!!! I received only half my order and after four messages I finally got a vague and unhelpful response. Now, after three weeks, I have had no reply to my additional six messages, and most importantly, still do not have my order!!!!! If you want their products, order from a third party like amazon. This place is ridiculous!!!"
"Purchased two sets of the Celina brand dishes May 2020. Received dishes June/July 2020. Starting September 2020 - noticed the fading around the edges, easily chipped. Finally was able to contact this company and they advised to contact Bed Bath Beyond Canada. Which I did, however Bed Bath told us since 90 days passed to deal with Pfaltzgraff. Took forever to deal with the company, received email saying using lemon dish soap, or harsh cleaners will cause the fading. I responded I use the dishwasher (which dishes are dishwasher proof), and it only my husband and I, handle dishes with care....after days waiting for a response - customer service said they could not do anything for us. What a waste of $400.00."
"I can't believe the bad reviews! I ordered the Taos Pattern recently, directly from Pfatzgraff, NOT AMAZON. The price was right, shipping was actually early, the packaging was professionally done with not a chip or crack anywhere, and the pattern was beautiful! I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. I recommend ordering through the manufacturer."

"I ordered some flatware online. The picture of the product did not match what I received. Flatware had an ugly finish. I paid to ship an item both ways. Because it was going all the way across the country, got charged half the price of the item for return. I have never regretted a purchase as much as I have this one. Will NEVER order from this company again, and wil share this negative experience with others. "
"In January of this year I bought some replacement dinner and salad plates and coffee mugs in the Orleans pattern. I was happy to find that the Orleans pattern was still in stock because I knew it had been discontinued for a while. What I got, however, was far from the original dishes that I still had.
For example: 1 - Replacements were very heavy - even heavier than my originals.
2 - Plates chip very easily -- I already have 2 dinner plates with gouges on them.
3 - Dinner plates do not stand up straight in dish washer as the old ones did. They hang over and make it difficult to put in additional plates. Apparently the current mold being used is different from the previous mold, thus causing the extra weight and shape difference.
I believe one of the reasons why this product has turned out to be so inferior is because they are now being manufactured in China. They were originally manufactured in Thailand.
If replacement dishes ( or even new styles) are going to be produced in China from now on, I will never
buy from this company again. Many of my friends and club members were considering the Pfaltzgraff line but now have had second thoughts about purchasing your products.

"purchased 16 place settings for the holidays. Boxes showed up looking like they were kicked out of an airplane and then dragged behind a dune buggy. Finally got that sorted out and thought all would be ok but the dishes started to break, crack, and chip within 1 month of the time we bought them. Spoke multiple times to customer service who first told me that these dishes were really just for show and not for everyday use as well as that they shouldn't be put in a dishwasher--DESPITE THE STATEMENT ON EACH DISH THAT SAYS DISHWASHER,OVEN,and MICROWAVE safe. They offered me 20% off to buy another of their crappy products. I WOULD NEVER PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN"
"I bought a large set of Pfaltgraff dinnerware. After one month 3 dinner plates broke right down the middle. The company so far has done nothing but shift me around. What a joke this company is. No refund, will not accept used dishes. How do you know anything about the dishes unless you use them, I told this to a customer rep. and she said quote " I am not going to go into specifics", that told me right there I am dealing with a very, very under the table co.
My advice to the world is stay away from this company. They are crooks."
"Purchased a pair of mugs directly on Pfaltzgraff (they were actually a few dollars more on Amazon). Received the mugs a few days later in very solid and well protected packaging. The ordering process was normal, but they reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I didn't have any estimate of when the package would arrive. The order confirmation email states that "We will email your shipping confirmation with your tracking number when your items have been shipped." but I just checked and didn't get one. "
"I wish I would have come here before placing my order. Pfaltgraff has terrible customer service. I placed an order and didn't realize that I had 2 four piece place settings instead of a 16 piece dinnerware set, with the discounts it was about the same price and I had been adding and taking out so many items in my search for the dishes I wanted, so, admittedly, it was an oversight on my part. I called to cancel at 9:10am and they said they would send an email to the warehouse to try and pull it. At 3:48am the next morning, I recieved a shipping notification. When I called them, they said UPS took it out of their possession after 11pm the night before. So, they had over 12 hours to pull it and wouldn't, I said wouldn't because I don't believe for a second that they couldn't. Their whole system is designed to screw over the customer. When I spoke with customer service all the guy did was blame management and their system. I was originally going to cancel my order and buy something 3x as expensive, but I will never order from them again!!! I will return it and eat the shipping costs to get a full refund from them. "
"Terrible customer service. I Talked to Erica as soon as my order was placed and she told me to call back in an hour and by that time she said I could not cancel the order.They had the same item on eBay for $1.00 less but hey would not honor that price.Awful to deal with!!!!"
"Negative reviews had me freaked out but the deal was too good to pass up, Ordered a sale item for $10 and used a 30% off coupon code to reduce the item to $7. Had to add another $7 for shipping for a total of $14. The same item was over $20 everywhere else and $24 on Amazon. Ordered on a Monday and the item shipped the following Thursday. There was an email confirming the order and an email confirming shipping. I had an average online shopping experience and have nothing to complain about. The item arrived as ordered and well packaged. They would have gotten 5 stars for faster order processing."
