"First time shopper here. Wanted to try a BUNCH of perfumes because I’m really picky. Just placed an order with them last week: I got to try 15 different scents which I never would have found in the big box stores, and that I didn’t see on other decanting websites, for less than half of the price of one bottle of perfume. Furthermore I really love that they have an entire section for vegan scents, as that’s important to me.
The sample vials that I ordered came well-packaged in a little jewelry box within a couple days of me placing my order. Vials have very clear labels on them. They’re easy to open but not so easy that they’re going to spill.

"I became interested in exploring perfumes, notes, vintage fragrances, and niche houses about 10 years ago. I quickly discovered The Perfumed Court and was over the moon. I could try all the wonderful perfumes I was reading about and interested in without spending more than $3-5 per sample vial. I've been using them ever since. The Perfumed Court also puts together sampler packs by theme or note. I have ordered these or used their list of selections to get ideas of single samples I might want to try. I've used a couple of other decanting sites when TPC was out of a particular scent, but I've found TPC is the most knowledgeable, best prices, best selection, and highest quality. "

Buying large bottles of perfume never made sense to me because I don't wear a signature scent on a daily basis.
I choose my scent depending on my mood. I used The Perfumed Court a few years ago to try
Annick Goutal's Sampler. I loved most of the 10 vials and took note of my favorites.
More recently, my husband and I have been on the hunt for a Vetiver that we both like and so this time we ordered a Prada and a Hermes' to sample. We're happy with both of them along with 2 different Nerolis that we ordered and a couple of other recent magazine recommendations.
You're a great company and I appreciate the individualized attention, esp the Espresso hard candy I found in the box with my perfume!

"I purchased a large decant of Serge Lutens, and the bottle arrived damaged. The spray nozzle is cracked on the inside causing loss of pressure and resulting in a build up of perfume and it pouring all over my hands. Ruined my manicure and I wasted a significant amount since I continued to spray thinking that it was just a new bottle and I needed to pull product into the hose.
They offered to send me another cheap bottle. I opted to buy a Travalo instead. Disappointed and probably won’t order again. "

"I wasn’t going to write a review because so many people rave about this company that I feared this would be buried but I need to get the warning out.
I purchased two Hermès perfumes. Neither of which I’d ever smelled. The shipping was very prompt, I had it in less than 5 days from purchase. Which, in hindsight, makes me think these were sitting around and gone bad?
One smelled so sour and rancid, a co worker sniffed and said “funeral home”. The other actually smelled really nice, it was a dabber vial I don’t know if that matters. I wore it for two days and the entire time I had a migraine but I’m prone to them so I didn’t put two and two together.
Until I bought a bottle of the one I liked from Saks and compared the two on my skin and the difference was night and day. The sample color was much deeper, the sample notes were much heavier... I was concerned that the bottle was fake.
I was wrong, it was the sample.
I emailed Hermès and the only thing they could confirm was the list of their authorized retailers. Saks was on that list.
I’m so angry, partially because I contributed to this disgraceful practice (clone or expired) but mainly because I have no idea what I put on my skin.
Shame on The Perfume Court! Don’t get suckered like I did. "

"I have used TPC for the last 6 years. I have always received high quality perfemes. Shipping and packaging are never a problem. My discount code for fathers day would not work and I reached out to customer service. It was resolved quickly by Carmen. She was wonderful and very pleasant. The problem was resolved quickly. I will always do business with the TPC and highly recommend them to everyone. "

And they charge higher prices than eBay sellers do!
But you're thinking to yourself "well, it's worth it, because I know the scent I'm getting will be authentic" --- think again.
They don't store their fragrances properly -- anything that's an EDP concentration or higher needs to be stored at around or near 50-60F or else the ingredients will start to separate and degrade.
When you get one of their decants, bring it with you to a department store and try THE SAME scent side by side -- you'll notice theirs smell different, almost immediately. The department stores have climate control systems and take care of their scents, that's why."
