"Bought a solar kit based on my conversation with customer service. Set it up with help from tech support over the phone. It repeatedly fails and they blame me for setting it up wrong? Well it was YOUR instructions. Fix my setup, hundreds on mailing components back and forth for repairs, it just won't work.
A local guy has been helping try to sort it out. My setup is fine. Apparently at solar conventions AIMS gets laughed at. Wish I could laugh living through the winter without electricity thanks to them, while still burdened with debt."

"i am upgrading from 12 volts to 24 volts to run hot water a/c and all lighting and appliances with a aims 3000 watt inverter charger and 2000 watt of pv. all is capable just takes power and time management and a few relays but 3000 watts that can surge to 9000 watts can handle all. and when made in america you can get it fixed i went down the chinese road and its cost me more in the long run. aims and midnight solar another made in america product is basically bulletproof. and did i say i can get service without waiting 2 months!!"

I then got a phone call a few hours later telling me that the inverter I purchased wasn't in inventory...someone made a mistake. "I called The Inverter Store asking what size inverter I should purchase for my car to run a laser printer. They told me what to buy. I paid $150.00 to install it and it would not boot up my printer. I called them they said OH YEAH the internal parts were changed and you need a larger inverter. I had to pay for it to be uninstalled and returned it to The Inverter Store. They charged me a restocking fee. They told me to buy the product then charged me for their mistake. I will never buy from them again nor recommend them to my fellow Settlement Agents."
