They overcharge your card and refuse to give the stolen money back

"Got an email for 20% off at the company store do I looked at some Christmas stuff, added 5 things to my cart, and checked out using the 20% off code. Everything worked out fine, approved a $114 purchase. Never got a confirmation notice so I contacted the company store thru their online contact. I never call when there’s any problem with orders. Leaving a written trail is too important. “Stanley” told me my order had indeed gone through and sent me my confirmation email. But the total amount charged was over $144, no 20% applied even though he knew I had a coupon. Thieves! Contacted customer service through email and have been arguing with them for 2 weeks now. It was first insinuated that I bought clearance and shouldn’t expect a further discount even though the code was accepted. Then I was told I would be refunded my $30 upon proof of a code. I provided the code and they reneged telling me I’d only get $20 back. I got another email offering 15% off to finish purchasing everything in my cart, the very things I’d already ordered! So I decided to test their sketchiness. Put 1 Christmas item in my cart, applied the 15% off code, checked out fine. Only to find out in my confirmation email that the 15% was not applied and another $5 stolen from my account that I did not approve. This is a normal thing with this deplorable American company stealing from American people. Got an email today that let the cat out of the box. My original order did NOT go thru. “Stanley” chose to lie to me saying it had gone through and illegally put the order through using my card information to charge me more than I’d approved. Although I piled my second order and the money stolen from me onto my email complaint, it has never even been acknowledged that it happened.
This company has very shady, illegal practices and should be avoided unless you enjoy:
People taking advantage of you.
People stealing your money.
People participating in illegal means.
People lying to you.
This company is truly an embarrassment to Americans!

Company Store stole my money

"Placed an order. charged my card. Said product was delayed in shipping. Never arrived. Called customer service and they have no record of my order ever being placed. Will not refund. "

Horrible service

"I purchased two 5 in. Down Mattress Toppers through the Home Depot who owns The Company Store. They were having a Labor Day sale. I received an email stating they had been shipped with a tracking number. I waited a full week after the delivery due date and called them. Seems they never even shipped them and said I had to return the unsent items for a refund and purchase them again. I had purchased with a Labor Day discount and now the discount was gone and they were $150 more than when I initially purchased. Needless to say I am very disappointed in the way they do business!"

Customer satisfaction achieved on second try

"The Company Store shipped boy's pajamas instead of the men's I ordered. I had an unsatisfying response from the first customer service rep (Loretta), asked to speak with a supervisor, and was put on hold for 20 minutes. While on hold I wrote a very negative review, but when I gave up and re-dialed, I had a completely different experience with a rep named Amy. She provided exactly the remedy I was looking for (they credited the refund and are allowing me to donate the boys pajamas to charity, thus saving me the inconvenience and hassle of the return originally proposed). I'm very satisfied now, but companies are going to have to step up their e-commerce game to compete with the stellar service offered by Amazon and Nordstrom's! "

horrible

"sad really...you order from The Company Store & they swap your order with another company without bothering to mention it to you...next thing you know, you have a strange charge on your credit card. To finalize the bad experience, the pillows were horrible quality. But the bad experience continues--I am having a really difficult time returning them. Go to Walmart. You can get the same quality for a fraction of the price."

SCAM COMPANY

"I ordered a quilt and 2 pillows. Both were days they were in stock. I get an email saying quilt was no longer available but they were mailing pillows. I called to cancel and get refund. They came up with all kinds of excuses but finally was refunded for the quilt but not pillows which I paid for 2 day shipping and over 2 weeks later have yet to receive them. I've been fighting for 2 weeks to get the 78.00 refund!! Like I told them, IF I get the pillows, they would only match the quilt. Incompetent employees and company. Customer service isn't there"

"Would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered a set of towels on Sept. 23. Today is Nov. 12 and I still do not have one of the towels. They said the reason they could not send it out is because they needed to authorize my CC again. Duh...did they contact me to ask me? NO! It probably would have taken another two months. I have called them at least 4 times about this. A company that sells sheets, towels and bedding cannot get me a towel for almost TWO months? Will not shop with them again. "

"I bought 8 towels with monogram for our family. I was uneasy about buying colored towels on- line, because the colors may not be true, so a phoned. The lady, GiGi, who took may order was so nice and helpful and patient. I described what shades I was seeking, and she helped me pick the colors; when they arrived, they were perfect. I purchased the "Company Store" towels, their brand; the price was unbeatable and quality very nice. I wish I had got some for gifts. "

"I ordered a bedspread from the Company Store, and soon after I made the order, I saw all of these negative reviews and got pretty worried. To my relief, the order was processed quickly, and the package arrived in just a couple of days. I am happy with the quality of the bedspread, especially with the size of it (I needed a hard to find over sized King, and the sizing was just as advertised).
I don't know if I just got lucky, but at this point, I would certainly do business with them in the future. Cheers!

"I placed an order for XL pajamas. I received pajamas in a plastic bag labeled XL pajamas. The product was actually size M, and obviously were too small. I called to report the Company error. They said i could send them back at my own expense despite the fact that the size error was entirely their fault. Very dissatisfied does not begin to cover it. I will never even consider ever ordering from the Company Store again."

"I have ordered from them multiple times, though don't know why, because every time I complain bitterly. Sheets are poor quality, deluxe sheets no different than basic. Both are thin, not soft and collect lint. I have had to take my tape roll to them to get lint off. And they WRINKLE terribly. Towels also lower quality. One order they left out an item I ordered completely even though I was charged and they claimed it was in the box. I have ordered multiple colored towels to compliment each other in a bathroom, only to have one color back ordered over and over again for 5 months and then suddenly become unavailable. Meanwhile I was using the other towels, so I could not return. Will NEVER place another order with them!!"

"This morning, 4th of July 2015 at 10:55 am, I made an order to the Company store and at the end, when the payment was done, the confirmation came with a note saying:" 4th of July, 25% off, free shipping in all your order" !!! So I called right away and the person who answered told me it was too soon to for her to add the reduction code number to my order because it takes 45 minutes to one hour for my order to reach them... I called 50 minutes later and this time the person who answered me told me that it was too late to add this code to my order as my order was ALREADY being processed in their warehouse!!!! He can only put a note asking them to give me a credit for my next purchase (as if I am ever again going to buy anything from them. Not only the staff don't know anything but they are also very dishonest. I write this hoping that it will be published as I have been told that the Consumer Store only posts positive comments on their website."

"Place order for a suite of bath towels on Thursday. Got an email on Sat that my order wouldn't ship for 3 months. Horrific, at best! Called to cancel my order due to the slovenly delivery time. The service agent sounded like she was 12 or 13 years old. Either that or stoned. Just couldn't compute that a 3 month delay was unacceptable. Never again! "
