"Horrible and I'm Heart Broken.

After purchasing a $2200 sony camera from this store (I've made numerous purchases here) I was sold a faulty camera. One month with little use, the auto focus doesn't work, and the grip that was purchased at the same time for this camera, I get incompatible errors. The camera is defective, and has been from day one. On the invoice, they sold me one camera and then returned it and sold me a one with a different serial number at the same time of purchase. Leading me to believe that they knew the camera was faulty. All I am asking for is a simple exchange for a new camera that works, but they said they only have a two week period for exchanges and I have to deal with Sony.

I spent over $4000 during this purchase of my hard earned money to fulfill my dream of working as a photographer. Sony says they will fix the camera and it will take 8 weeks. My first photography job is in 3 weeks, and I've had to cancel because the Camera Store told me too bad, its Sony's fault the camera is defective.

Please don't purchase anything from this store. They don't have the ability to take care of their customers. I wanted to support the local small business, only to be sadly disappointed. I am kicking myself I didn't go to Best Buy. I know why these small camera shops are struggling, they leave you high and dry the second you walk out the door with their defective product."

Their prices are very competitive in the Canadian market, and if the price is higher, they make up for it by the fact that Alberta has no PST--so it's automatically 8 percent lower than had you purchased this in, for example, Ontario. The shipping rate is 10$ flat per order (not per item). This is awesome, because if I order 5 lenses, I get the items shipped to me for 10$.
