"I bought from Universal Restaurant Supply..... allegedly same owner as The Blender Place,....Amanda Swain and Kevin Blankenship......NOW.......they bate you in and the staged fraud setup begins.....down the line, you realize.they keep changing their domain name, and you never speak to a person.......they get back fast being so courteous and worthy......with those points and cheaper prices you feel their human touch and you trust........they get back fast with emails and the embezzler ride is sustained.....they tell you you're in the Cus Ser. datebase, ...and that a tracking number will be sent to you as soon as it is shipped...you trust.....you are a fair human.....they tell you that you can have a refund immediately if you cannot wait when they come up with delays.......you wait a week, then after a week, they so nicely tell you you are now on backorder and are so contrite and apologetic.....at this point, you might be super fair human....and you wait it out....only to be told again, another delay of backorder.....and now they might even offer you a little gift to wait out just a little more..... because enough time stalled is money in their pockets, money in their other companies, and money in their holdings companies!!!!!.......after two months you, the customer, cannot get your money back from the credit card companies, that are insured and work under laws that seize after two months......these people do not care about anybody the other owner, Peter Ingleses (spelling) is also involved.........My brother in law is in the police force........ I would consider them dangerous, they should be arrested and in jail.....period!!!!"

"These scumbags took my money and delivered nothing. I couldn't get them to answer their phone and they NEVER responded to e-mails. I disputed the charge with my bank. To this day, I have a temporary credit, more than 60 days later. I contacted the Florida Attorney General and today was told that the Blender Place refused to discuss the issue and, because they have no power, the Attorney General's office has closed the case. I am mad at my bank for keeping me in the dark, the Florida Attorney General's office for being worthless and the Blender Place for being lying thieves. Now, their website says they are closed. They ripped off consumers, closed and will resurface as some other entity."

"I have purchased from The Blender Place in the past and had no problems. However, this is a VERY different story. I placed my order for 6 new Vitamix Blender Jars and 3 new blade assemblies ($865.45) on May 8 and have not seen anything to this date. I emailed, re-emailed, called, left messages,..... nothing!! PATHETIC customer service!!!"

"I ordered some new blades for my Vitamix on 4/29/13 and as of 7/8/13 have not received them. I have called and sent numerous emails with no response. I am getting card member services to get me a refund. Do not use this company! If you received your

"I purchased a blender on-line from theblenderplace.com on April 14. They charged my card right away. It is now July and I have no blender. They do not answer my emails. They do not answer my phone calls. Do not buy from this company or from any company run by Kevin Blakenship."

"I wish I would have read these reviews prior to ordering my blender. Order on April 24, 2013, they processed my card on April 26, 2013 for payment. As of today, June 19, 2013 I have not received my order, nor have I received a return phone call or email after hounding them daily for the past 3 weeks. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE AND TELL ALL YOUR RESTAURANT FRIENDS! I have contacted my bank, lawyer and am letting everyone I know about this fraud. Simply rediculous. Total Scam!"

"Ordered a $949 Blender on 5/1/13 and as of 6/7/13 - 5 weeks later - order still shows processing. They of course ran the card immediately. You can't get them on the phone. I was hesitant based on the prior reviews but have ordered from them before(Jul 2012) with no issues. I am in Florida as well so I figure I can take a drive to visit them if I really need to (and, theblenderplace.com, don't think I won't show up looking for my blender or my money - I won't leave without one or the other) Kevin Blankenship or Amanda Swain of KEVIN BLANKENSHIP CO. INC. had better contact me immediately before this escalates. order 7971 - all my info is there"

"DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. THE OWNER IS A SNAKE. THEY DO KEEP A STOCK IN THEIR OFFICE. IF THEY TELL YOU SOMETHING IS ON BACKORDER, WHICH THEY WILL. IT IS NOT, THEY ARE LYING. They immediately take your money from you and you do not get your item until a month later....please do not trust thos company. Go with a different company. "I ordered on April 15th and it was 'processing' for 5 days. I e-mailed because after several days they said it was 'backordered' and they would ship it on May 6th. May 6th came and went and no communication until I e-mailed again. The next date they said was May 16th. I've e-mailed since then and they offered to send me a 'measuring cup' and they refunded 'shipping' charges, but they still have the rest of the money. It's May 16th and STILL says 'backorder'. I have asked for a refund, left phone messages and e-mails with no further responses. The prior customer had good service and wonders about 'disgruntled' people. Who wouldn't be disgruntle with this kind of service?"

"I had a great experience. So much so i have placed another order for an oven. My first order was shipped right away so i'm not sure what the lower complaints are about other than i know only upset people typically write these.

Anyway, we needed to get three blenders for our deck and they helped us figure out what we needed for our volume. I think it was Samantha that helped us and she honestly saved us money because we thought we needed those big vitamixer PBS things that spin the ice but she explained that they might be more than we need and she was right... Thanks Samantha!

We certainly order again.

"I pretty much agree with all the bad reviews on here. My issues align with everyone else's: no communication, a lot of lying and game playing and blaming, non-existant customer service. They charge you and take your money immediately, but don't ship for weeks or months. In order to "track" your order, you have to do it online, and it never gives you any information except your actual order. Nothing about being backordered, unless you complain that your order is overdue, they come back at you that your item is backordered and you must wait longer. Or that they already told you that and your spam folder is the reason why... uh huh. I put them on my "safe" list.

I'm practically begging for my $1200 blender. I guess I will have to get credit card company involved since this company seems like a massive fraud.

These people deserve to be bankrupt with how they handle this company.

"Do not waste your time or money with this company. I too should have read the reviews prior to ordering. I placed on order back on March 4th for a replacement Vitamix blender container. A week went by and then I received an e-mail advising me that my item had been pulled from the warehouse for shipping. Another week went by and I e-mailed customer service asking for a tracking number. I was then informed that my item was on back order and would be back in stock the week of March 25th. I asked why I was not informed about this and they told me an e-mail was sent advising me and that it probably went to my spam folder. It didn't. That's because none-mail was ever sent.

Fast forward to the beginning of April. I e-mailed customer service again to ask for a tracking number (since according to their last e-mail the container should've been back in stock on March 25th).

I stated clearly in my e-mail that if they couldn't provide me a tracking number by the end of the day to cancel my order. Not only did they not respond by the end of the day but the following day they sent me an e-mail indicating the blender container would ship on April 11th.

I canceled my order. It should not take 6 weeks to get a simple blender container. The communications I received from this company were not reliable. I'm not sure if it's incompetence, untrustworthy, or both.

Save yourself the hassle and order from someone else.
