"On 1/27/21 I took my 2007 Ford F150 to Tire Choice #706 for a Va. State Inspection. Mechanic Bradley Chalker (38491) informed me that the vehicle failed inspection due to a defective tie rod and sway bar link. He gave me a quote to replace/repair/alignment of $716. I declined to have work because I previously (3 weeks earlier) had the identical worked performed by Brake King Automotive (#5449) : mechanic Robert Bradford (1/7/21). Mech Bradley Chalker re-stated that the tie rod were bad and the sway bar link was installed improperly. Since the work was still under guarantee, I took my truck back to Brake King. Brake King re-inspected their work and documented that the tie rods and sway bar link were not defective or worn. I took my truck back to Tire Choice with the documents from Brake King and talked to manager Barry Boyce. He read the document from Break King and stated that Break King was just trying to cover their ****. My concern is that Tire Choice #706 Newport News is using Va State Inspection to fail customer's vehicles in order to drum up business. I will be filing an official complaint with the Better Business Bureau."

"Do NOT use Tire Choice! They completely destroyed the dash in my car. Their insurance company accepted responsibility, but they refuse to refund the $146.43 "diagnostic fee" that they forced my son to pay to have the car released and towed to an actual, professional repair shop. They think they "diagnosed" my car by ripping the dash from the car forcibly! This occurred at the Estero, FL location, but based on their poor attempt at customer service, I encourage you not to use ANY location for any purpose."
"Normally I am a very patient and forgiving man. But like the saying goes, 3 strikes you're out. I have had 2 very bad and costly problems with the store on Livingston Rd in Naples so I decided to try the Central Ave store in Naples.
FIRST COMPLAINT: I was having major problems with my Ford Ranger and needed a trustworthy mechanic. Since I’d dealt with Tire Choice for several years I figured they would be fair and do a good job. I told them how my truck was running and the computer gave a P0351 code. So for over $400.00 They changed the coil pack, throttle position sensor and fuel filter and said it drove fine. IT DROVE NO BETTER THAN WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN. I found out after finding a REAL mechanic the P0351 means the computer had failed, so the computer change cost me another $500.00.
SECOND COMPLAINT: Since I have been dealing with the Tire Choice store (Naples, Fl. Pine Ridge Rd & Livingston) for at least 6 years, I went in with a slow leak in a tire that I bought at that very store 4 months prior. At that time I purchased 2 front tires and alignment with an oil change. Well after sitting there for almost an hour, the service manager came in and said "the leak was on the side wall and couldn't be fixed, and oh by the way all 4 of your tires are toast, you need breaks and possibly an alignment". First off, the 2 front tires had maybe 200 miles on them and like I said I bought them at THAT STORE! I'm disabled and only put about 1,000 miles on my truck each year. Secondly if the alignment was bad from going to the grocery store once a week they did a crappy job to start with. So I asked him if he could show me the leak I was told no, and when I walked outside and looked around the corner the guy "working" on my tire was standing at my truck by the lift laughing, and the service mgr. told him to put the tire back on and the mechanic said I haven't taken it off yet and lowered my car. As far as I'm concerned that store is full of hustlers. They don't give a damn about you they just want to bully you into buying what you don't need. When it first opened many years ago it wasn't like that. I'll never deal with Tire Choice again.
AND NOW THIS: Since I’d had such bad service from the Livingston Rd store, I went to the store on Central Ave. in Naples last week after my cardiologist appointment for some tires. I asked the guy at the counter for the most inexpensive tire in the size 23570R16, to which after a few minutes he said the cheapest tire was a "Falken Wildpeak" which after he figured in a "discount" they would cost $115.99 each plus install, balance etc...so he discounted each tire $9.00 because the regular price I looked up is $124.99 each. So for 2 tires at regular price would have been $289.96 plus tax out the door. So with my "discount" I saved $27.00. Now my REAL problem is this, After I get home and look up on the Tire Choice web site there is a "Pantera" brand tire for $80.99 each. (plus install etc) and a total of $201.96 for 2 tires. That's $88.00 less!! So as I said in my other complaint the salesmen are just that, salesmen/hustlers. They won't give you what you ask for, they will lie and "sell" you something else. The managers name is Steven Feinauer but the name signed on my bill is unreadable so I'm not sure who I dealt with. I told this guy I was on disability and a fixed income and not a rich Naples home owner. So my warning is this, if you have deep pockets and don't care what you pay for product go to this store. If you are living on a fixed income shop around because these "salesmen" can't be trusted. THEY ARE SCAMMERS"
"Walked out of work Thursday and found a flat tire on my car. Ended up at TIreChoice, where I was greeted by Jarrel Fluker. He checked out the flat and explained it wasn't a flat, but a problem with the stem. He took care of the problem, for no charge. I would definitely recommend this place. Deb B

"Went in to get a Engine Light & StabiTrak light diagnostic from certified mechanics. I should have left when the started checking the depth of my tires first. My husband works on cars but due to work schedules we decided to let Tirechoice complete the work since they would have it back same day! Huge Mistake! Fix one thing then called back said that wasn’t it we can try this or that. My husband can do that! Beware BEWARE BEWARE!"
