"I ordered two college shirts for my wife who is an alumni. We received them and they are very small too small to fit in adult. They refuse to exchange them and told me I could resell them on their marketplace.
I have never dealt with a company whose customer service is this poor, they they are dismissive and arrogant!
This reflects very poorly on the Universities that sell their products through this company."

"I ordered more than $100 worth of textbooks, only to see on the tracking information that the books were never sent to USPS. I called USPS and they verified this. So, I called TextbookX weekly for a total of 4 times - no joke - to be told the last 2 times that I'd finally get a refund. Of course I never did get a refund. The last time I asked to talk to a manager. The person I spoke with wouldn't allow me to, and assured me I'd get my refund ASAP (I didn't have the money to buy new books until I got my refund). Well, school starts next week and still no refund. Not sure what I'll do. I posted a negative (simply truthful) review earlier and they emailed me to tell me that they did issue me a refund. The guy (some Brad Collins, who I'm sure is not real) sent me a screenshot of a made-up excel spreadsheet showing that I got my refund 3 weeks ago. Of course I didn't - and I have my Visa card statements to prove it. So I told "Brad" this in a reply email and asked him to call me to discuss. Of COURSE I never heard back. This company is a rip-off and a scam shop and they lie to your face. I couldn't believe that "Brad" actually created a sloppy excel spreadsheet as "proof" that I got my refund. What a liar. And a coward since they can't even call me back. amazing. Seriously folks, buy your books from Amazon or Walmart (both are MUCH MUCH cheaper) and you'll actually receive your books! Steer clear of this thieving company."
"Out of desperation to try to earn enough money for groceries, I tried to use textbookx per my school store. I returned a book that I did not use throughout the semester in the exact condition it was sent to me. They refuse to send it back and refuse to compensate me appropriately for it. Now I'm sure they will resell that book to the next poor student struggling to get by. It's so sad that they would prey on people like this. I wish I would never have encountered them. Don't make my mistake. Run far and fast from this horrible scam. "
"My school recently transitioned to this book ordering company and it was a huge mistake! I placed an order for a physical copy of a textbook. I got a CD/DVD box with a code. Simple mistake, I get it...I sent them a polite email letting them know I got the online version and not the actual book. Customer Service is non-existent and I havent received a response in almost 2 weeks. That is unacceptable. I ordered the book elsewhere and it looks like I am going to have to take a loss on the nearly $200 digital version."
"Ordered multiple books and two of them have already been canceled. One I received a confirmation email that the order had been fulfilled. Have ordered from many different book companies over 12 years of education and this is the first time I have had a bad experience. Don’t waste the time and your books not show up in time for class. Use a different company."
