Can't be a legitimate business!!

"I ordered a business critical item that was in stock and paid an expedited overnight shipping rate. I expected to get the item in 1 to 2 business days. 3 business days in and I haven't even received a receipt from telephonyware.com. The only receipt I have is from PayPal.

I cannot get anyone to answer the phone.
I cannot get any response via email.
I cannot get any response via voicemail.

Telephonyware... if you're going to offer expedited shipping you must also fulfill the orders in a timely fashion!

Now I'm left trying to cancel the order because I'm forced to source parts from another vendor.

Not a good experience.

"Terrible customer service.
Placed my order and could not get a hold of anyone for 5 days. No shipping info, no information. No reply to phone calls/emails.
I am totally in the dark.
Don't waste your time.
Shop at a company that appreciates the customers.

"This company has consistently help me out since 2006. They are extremely knowledgeable about everything telephony and willing to share their expertise. You may find some items cheaper elsewhere; however it's worth spending a little more with these guys, since they will ensure you are ordering the best hardware you need for your particular solution and are there to help you set things up if you run into difficulties."

"I've been a customer of Telephonyware since 2006, and I'm still using their services today. I'm a Linux and IPBX consultant, and have installed many sites with their products since that date. They have great prices, and have been helpful when assistance when needed: I remember having problems with a Mediatrix gateway and they helped
me as well as send me firmware not available on the constructor web site. I mainly use Grandstream phones, and it happenned in the past that Telephonyware's web
site was not up to date with the latest phones, but they immediately sent me quotes.

I'm located in French Polynesia, a very remote location, so trust in suppliers is very important. I also made a few projects in New Caledonia, Telephonyware has again been great.

Highly recommended!

"We were looking to replace our existing voicemail system as we started experiencing hardware problems. After search several types of auto attendant products and phones we narrowed our search down to the TalkSwitch PBX telephone system.

I called hellodirect.com and spoke to their sales depart to get more info on the product. They seemed to be a well-established company but after speaking to the sales person she knew little about the product and need to get a technical person involved. I ask for a proposal along with their recommendations on phones. They took our info and we never received a response by phone, email or otherwise. I then called telephonyware.com and their salesperson was very knowledgeable with the TalkSwitch telephone system. He asked several questions about our requirements and highly recommended Talkswitch along with phones.

The products from telephonyware.com were delivered on time and the setup was fairly simple. After installing, we needed some help in configuring the system so I called telephonyware.com for assistance. The support person connected to our office PC, completed the configuration edits, and we were up and running in minutes.

I would highly recommend telephonyware.com as they have a great product selection, they are very knowledgeable with their products, their prices are better than most and their customer service is outstanding.

"I sell/install network equipment, and VoIP technology to Nashville area businesses. I have a very busy, highly profitible customer with a lot of foot traffic(a coffe shop/organic restaraunt) whose wifi went out completely. Considering it is a coffee shop where a lot of professionals, and students eat, meet, and utilize the free wifi this was as you can see a huge problem for my customer as many of their customers buy more the longer they stay and they stay to use the wifi. The vendor I usually use (a cisco authorized distributor) had none in stock and were on back order for a week. I was able to order the router a Cisco SRP521 W Friday night the router was delivered 10am sat and the customer back up and going by 11am. The price was comparable with what I wouldve paid my distributor (+ $10.00 difference) service was great (Mark you are the sh!t) and responsiveness to all emails and calls terrific. I'll definitely use Telephonyware for future projects!!!!!!! "

"The price is secondary, primarily are they trust worthy.....??????
Pre-sales was very good, the person who talk to me was Mr. Mark.
I paid USD 4017.90, whereas there is no news from them at all. Unable to catch them by chat, no reply for emails as well. No telephone calls are attended by them.
Ordered on 27-Oct-2010, today is 11-Nov-2010, I don't know what to think about them.
Will they ship it or cheat it....???? God only knows.

"As a full time UNIX admin and Asterisk IP-PBX consultant, I just don't have the time to stay on top of the latest IP telephony hardware trends and software compatibility information. I've always relied on the knowledge and experience of Telephonyware staff to help advise on my choices in equipment to fit a given project. Since 2004, Telephonyware has helped me ensure the value and success of every one of my projects no matter the scale or complexity. My projects range from installing local CPE PBX based small offices to multiple IP Phone gateways for unifying the IP voice network for businesses with nationwide offices to large manufacturer campuses/government contract projects involving session border controllers. I've never had to go anywhere else for equipment but visit Telephonyware.com, and to review my projects requirements with someone over the phone. My equipment always arrives quickly and safely due to expert shipping. It's been a pleasure working with Telephonyware all these years. I have done my due diligence with vendors and have shopped the competition. However, I still don't see a reason to change whom I do business with when it comes to purchasing IP telephony equipment. "If you are like me, you've probably shopped the plethora of online VOIP stores and have questions about the equipment you want to buy before you buy it. After a weeks worth of shopping, I can offer this advice. Don't waste your time shopping anywhere else. Telephonyware has truly knowledgeable people working both sales and support who get you fast and accurate answers to your pre-sales questions. If you want something more than marketing information read to you by a salesman who knows almost nothing about VOIP, this is the place for you. They also offer knowledgeable support and assistance getting your equipment setup after your purchase.

The extremely competitive pricing, and robust array of products from almost every major VOIP manufacturer are really just a bonus. Buy from people who know VOIP.

"STAY AWAY, Run if you can! this company is so horrible, if htey are even a company if that. Cusotmer service the worst, problem came up when at first the package did not arrive in time though i paid for 2nd day air which im sure they got their money back on but did not refund me a penny. then to top it off the phone they sent was advertised to come with an adapater whcih was even verified when they were so happy to take the order for $350 phone. then to my surprise no adapter came with the phone. called htem back and ater 3 days of not being able to get anyone finally got someone after i threatened to dispute the charge, aha now i got their attention. They sent the adapter. after a week and a half of going through hell. now 7 months later the phone died. Polycom, the manufacture, said i need to contact a company called scansourcecommunications because htey are the authorized distributors and ONLY they can request a return repair for the phone. Great i called them, they said i have to call this telephonyware.com company becaseu i am not their customer and if telephonyware does not request the return then im stuck.

LESSON LEARNED If you cant get in touch with a company after 2 honest trys, and i dont mean that if yo called them and left them a message that you expect a return call within 5 minutes, be reasonable. If you dont get a call back the same day within a reasonable time frame or a rely to your email. SATY AWAY FROM THEM! and while your at it do some research.

"I ordered a Linksys yahoo phone from their site. I live in Tokyo. My credit card was charged for the product and their system accepted shipping to Japan. But I havent yet heard anything from them, whether my product has been shipped or not. I tried to call them a million times but they never attend the calls nor reply back to my voice mail messages. I emailed them too but no reply.

With this bad experience I am not going to do any business with them in the future.

"I did purchase 5 Sipura VoIP Phones from this company, while I got the phones they came as 2 line models not 4 line that I payed for.

Getting the upgrade keys (that should be shiped with the phones) from the telephonyware support is next to imposible. While they first acknwoleaged the problem (individual called Mark Lipscombe replied to my mail ), I never hear from them again. They stop replying to the emails and there is no chance anyone can get hold of the live person over the phone.

In total they ripped me of for 120 USD. End of story.
