"I ordered a 2-year full MSDN Universal subscription that included a free promotional upgrade to an MSDN Premium subscription when released. Instead, I received an academic subscription. Not only am I ineligible for an academic subscription as a professional developer, the academic version sells for about half of what I paid! After complaining, they exchanged my subscription and I received a two-year renewal subscription. Once again this was not what I had ordered, but rather something for which I am ineligibile and that sells for less than I paid!

In the end since Microsoft was no longer selling the MSDN Universal subscription, they offered to sell me a 1-year full MSDN Enterprise subscription (lower level and 1-year instead of 2-year) for over half of what I originally paid! Their excuse for the whole problem was that the distributor from which they purchase the subscriptions was confused about the new MSDN product offerings and was having trouble fulfilling orders around the time that I placed my order. Of course, they didn't tell me this until they had wasted 6 weeks of my time and the free promotional upgrade to MSDN Premium is no longer available costing me about $2000 extra when I order again.

Note this company does business using the name Technology One and Save 365.

"I placed an order for a common software item. I got a confirmation email with the shipping tracking number and it said it would ship in 1-2 days.

A week later, no delivery and the tracking info said that the usps didn't have the item yet.

I emailed the seller and they said "oh it's been backordered for weeks and we don't even know when it will be in." Fraud, if you ask me.

They were not going to tell me it was backordered until I asked. dirtbags.

They charged my Amex the same day as the order for something that they don't have and don't know when they will have it. That's illegal.

Here is my email reply to them.....

Tony,

If you have been backordered on the item for several weeks, then your site should have told me that before I placed the order. You also should also not have sent me an order confirmation with a shipping tracking number saying that the order would ship in 1-2 days. This is called dishonesty.

The fact that I had to email you to even find out that you have sold me an item that you don't even have (without advising me of this) -- and don't even know when you will have it in -- underscores your unsatisfactory business practices. Were you hoping that I'd wait forever so that you could hang on to the sale?

Your site still lists the item as in stock. Yet another problem.

The order is cancelled and I won't be back. Delete my credit card info from your files as you can't be trusted.

Please know I have started spreading the word that Technology One and Save365.com are disreputable sites that aren't worth shopping at. You've deceived the wrong potential customer.

I've already started filing my complaints and reviews...

"Ar. I'm quite upset with this trash company. I placed my order on the 23rd of December for a copy of Microsoft Money 2003. I paid $16 to have it shipped fed-ex second day. My credit card was charged immediately. Unfortunately, come the 31st of December, it had not yet arrived. I called up their customer service who informed me that it was out of stock. Along those lines, the rep was highly improfessional. Anyhow, I had my money refuneded.

Long story short: this company treated me poorly, and I would NEVER order from them again.

"poor business practices. they charged my credit card for the order w/in 2 days of order and showed my item as shipped and provided a usps tracking number. after two weeks and not receiving my order, they responded to my email saying it just came in stock and I should be receiving shortly. product was not shown out of stock when ordered. will not order from again."

"Ordered the full copy of Photoshop 6.0, via the web, as advertised off their site. Received the manual and registration card, not the full copy. Returned the product and, after 2 weeks waiting, did not receive the full copy of Photoshop 6.0 in return.

After initiating a phone call to their staff, we were informed that no copies were available, a simple phone call they could have made to us. Then the customer service rep attempted to sell us a second product, which he explained we would have to pay extra to have express mailed, despite the fact that they screwed up the order in the first place.

The company ended up having to deny the charge on the credit card in order to receive a refund on the product.
