"When shopping for industrial grade tarps, I quickly found the big box options (walmart, lowes, harbor freight, and menards) to be cheap, but of very low quality and not designed to last. This took me online, where I compared most of the major firms there. Looking at amazon, I found the same low quality options found in the big box stores. These are lightweight and will not last. This lead me to the two largest firms I could find online, tarpsplus.com (Abadak Outdoors) and tarpsnow.com. There are lots of websites in this space offering tarps of one kind or another, but none these two were clearly the largest. As I looked into tarps plus, I found they were not BBB accredited, and as i searched, I found lots and lots of negative customer reviews (see below). Conversely, the online landscape for tarpsnow.com had positive reviews and is BBB accredited with an A+ rating. This lead me to closely examine the tarps on this site.
Looking at the heavy duty canvas tarps found at Tarps Now, I noted superior quality levels specific to stitching, with double-folded hems, and sturdy brass grommets for proper tie-downs in an assortment of sizes, grades, colors and weight, as well as treated, untreated, natural, and fire retardant options. While this was overkill for my application, this was encouraging to see. What was important to me was that their heavy duty canvas tarps are breathable, waterproof and extremely durable, and are made in the United States with premium cotton canvas duck fabric. This sealed it for me. The quality and pricing was highly competitive, the online order confirmation process was instant, and the delivery time as promised. Who could ask for more?
