"I purchased a Chief Mfg. Plasma TV mount PLP-2390 from TVMountStore.com (aka Perfect View LTD., South Hampton, NY) through www.shopping.yahoo.com. After making the purchase online TVMountStore.com informed me that the price they quoted was too low and I would have to pay an extra $25 if I wanted the TV Mount. The mount didn't fit my television as advertised. I ordered a second Chief Mfg. (PSM-2390) mount that I was advised would work. It did not. After using a mounting technique that was not in the PLP-2390 instruction manual and was previously unknown to the Chief Mfg. engineers, I was able to make the original purchase work.
On February 11, 2004 I tried to return the PSM-2390 TV mount. For over a week TVMountStore.com would not answer any of the emails I sent requesting return information and authorization. TVMountStore.com also disconnected their phone so I was unable to phone them. I enlisted the help of shopping.yahoo.com and Chief Mfg. to help with this lack of communication I was experiencing with TVMountStore.com. I also enlisted the help of ResellerRatings.com by inviting TVMountStore.com to be on their resellers list. This is when my emails to TVMountStore.com finally commanded a reply.
TVMountStore.com finally refunded 100% of the purchase price for the PSM-2390 TV Mount even though their return policy stated that up to a 25% restocking fee may apply to returned items.
I highly recommend against purchasing from TVMountStore.com. They definitely had the best price, but when I had a problem with the item I purchased I had a totally frustrating feeling of abandonment from TVMountStore.com.
