"Love the school, the staff are all amazing with my child and she loves saying hi to everyone here and always excited to come even if she is grumpy in the morning and always leaving with a smile which is nice to see when picking her up"
"It has been overall positive. I feel like an early snow dismissal with less than 3 inches 2 hours before dismissal is not helpful."
"Overall my experience with this school has been good. I do worry that sometimes the teachers speak too rough with the children, as I have witnessed it happen to another child when picking up my son. I would like the teachers to show a little more affection and empathy to kids who are still adjusting to their new surroundings."
"Overall, we like the school and the teachers, and we are going to stay because it has been beneficial to our child’s development. But one thing I would ask is could you please not announce when a parent has arrived? It makes it seem as though we are late or in a hurry to leave, or that the kids are a burden. Thank you."
"Management is good, but not impressed with the “teachers.”"
"my daughter only started at Tutor Time three weeks ago, but we have had a positivie experience thus far. The staff and teachers are all very welcoming and genuinely care about each child. We receive updates throughout the day which show when she has been fed and changed. The teachers have all continued to tell my husband and I that our daughter is happy and smiley while she is at the center which tells us everything we need to know about how she is being cared for."
"From the initial tour, we have felt like valued members of the educational community at Tutor Time. We are greeted with smiles and genuine caring from early in the morning and late into the evening. Our teachers are knowledgeable, compassionate, and invested in our son. We couldn’t have designed a better first experience!"
"The school is a great school, the location is super convenient, the teachers and staff in the classroom are super friendly and understanding. Only thing is management needs to work on comm"
"We’ve had 2 children go through Tutor Time Lindenhurst. The last year plus since Kim became the director have been the best and we’ve seen a great deal of community building and general welcoming environment. We’ve loved the events and love being involved. If I could make one recommendation that my family and most of the families feel are really important. The back parking lot on both sides NEEDS a retractable fence or gate so when back lot events are hosted the families don’t need to worry about the kids running in the street or cars pulling in suddenly. That would be a huge improvement and would be a game changer for the location when they do camp, graduation, truck or treat, backyard bbq, etc etc. The retrafence or gate would be a home run."
"The school needs to more more structured activities other than circle time. The students need a daily arts and crafts project. They should be working with letters every day."
"Very positive and compassionate from the leadership team through the classroom."
"It is pretty good and they are very interactive with the kids."
"My child attended preschool at tutor time. I also had issues but was able to resolve them. I enrolled her for the camp program because of location, safety, activities and my child loves it. The new director does make my child and I feel welcome. I will be looking for another camp"
"Lately it has not been the greatest experience. The center lacks communication with parents. I made an appointment with the director and when I got to the center she was not there she didn't bother to call me to reschedule/cancel."
"love the school looking forward in working with the new director since she recently started"
