It took about 15 min. to set-up the lift, and about five tries to find the best
Balance point to lift my 1800 Gold Wing. From this point I tested the left by
Lifting my 1800GL up and down about 10 times so I had a good feeling that
The left could do what it claimed, from that point I changed oil, gave the front and rear
Wheels a thorough cleaning and best of all I was not laying on the garage floor : )
Note*** Always lower the Jack screws down on the ground before lifting anything, after lifting your motorcycle to the desired height lower the lift down on its safety bars and use your tie downs to secure the motorcycle, This will make the lift as solid as the ground it sits on.
Remember Safety First , if you remove something heavy like the front or rear wheel, which will change the balance point, support the opposite end with a floor jack or block it up before removing anything heavy.
