They are horrid

"I completely understand suits should be tried on tags in tact for refunds. However, not all suits wear/perform the same when you try them on/wear them in the water. I purchased a red Nike (will never wear/buy a Nike product again or purchase from this store) 2 piece competition suit. I tried it on before removing the tags. Top was fine, the bottom however as soon as it got wet, felt like it grew to a larger size and after a few strokes, basically fell off me. I drive 45 mintues every other day to swim for 1 hour so I know my size well as I have multiple suits. I wrote CS and didn't even want a refund because I thought that would be inappropriate after wearing it and asked for an exchange as the suit was defective (but like you couldn't see the defection it just became so in the water) Customer service said "can you send pictures of the suit? WHAT THE HEC?? A simple exchange wouldn't have cost your company nearly as much as this review will and for anyone else, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE, there are plenty of others, such as swim outlet-they're great or anywhere else. At the end of the day, as a business owner and a professor, the customer is right and to provide them with a satisfactory outcome is usually worth more than not. Horrid company."

Bad customer service

"Bought a jammer and only wore once, the bottom has a hole. Requesting for refund or replacement but the process took 3+ months and still no progress. First they said will do refund but needs time to get management approval. After a while, they didn't even bother to return any emails asking for update. $200+ for a swim suit that only worn once. "

I remember now why I hadn't ordered from them in years!

"I ordered a suit on 11/08/2021 and when it had not shipped out according to their claims, I attempted contact via emails, through their website and on Facebook. Not one reply out of courtesy from all of those four contacts. According to shipping information on the website in the FAQs labeled ORDER PROCESSING TIME, my order should have shipped today at the latest. Well, here is the tricky thing: I was told when I finally called that they would ship my order Priority Mail. Yet, it is listed at USPS as awaiting item although Swim2000 claims it shipped on Friday, 11/12. If USPS is awaiting the shipment that is just not true. Apparently, they say at item is shipped but it has not actually shipped. So...Las Vegas to Texas IF it ever gets to USPS will be three days. I have no idea when I will get my order. There was a reason I stopped ordering from them and now I recall why. You get what you pay for!"

Shipping exploitation

"Placed an order for a complete kit as my swim bag got stolen. Figured I could make do with no gear whilst waiting for the shipment.
get an email 4 days later saying they are not sending me anything unless I double the original shipment cost. meanwhile, my original payment has already gone through.

I queried this over multiple emails back and forth and when I called them out for the extortion I was blatantly abused via email and told ill just never get my gear... I did get a refund but not the total amount I paid.

find a different provider for gear. service is terrible and unreliable.

EXCELLENT SERVICE DURING COVID 19!

"I ordered a swim cord to swim in place in my back yard pool while I quarantined in place. Bruno notified me that the item was delayed. He said he would ship ASAP. i received the stretch cord a week later! I ordered one from Swim Outlet the same day (I was desperate to swim). Two weeks later I still haven't heard anything from Swim Outlet and do not have the cord.
SWIM2000 helped me keep my sanity during lock down! Swimming in place a happy in Mobile, AL

Horrible customer service

"Horrible cannot begin to explain the experience - they have NO customer service or skills; I needed to exchange a brand new unopened box with a brand new techsuit and was told that since 45 days had passed from the date I paid (not the date it was received which was 3 weeks later) that I had to sell the techsuit on my own to another swimmer - this is what they tell their customers? I don't understand how they are still in business - I will never buy from them again. "

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!

"UPDATE: At 9:37 pm central time I got an email from Swim2000 that the Suit has been shipped! I think that they have amazing prices and more people would order from them if they actually followed there own policies (ie: that they ship within 24-48 hours of placing the order and if placed before 12 pm Pacific time they will ship that day) and they have better customer service! I have been in retail management for over 20 years and would never respond to a customer the way that I have been responded to or anyone else that I have read comments on! Once I have the Suit in hands I will update again!

I ordered my daughters tech suit a week ago to the date and it still has not been sent! I asked when it would be sent and Bruno said it would be mailed Thursday or Friday (which is 7 days after ordering!) and it still has not been shipped out! i have contacted them again and no response! I wish I would have read ALL reviews before placing my order and dealing with this place! My daughter needs it for next Thursday and they have no customer service what so ever!!!

Turned out it is good and fast!

"Revised my feedback after I received my order. After 5 days of my order, it was still in process. But once it's processed, they shipped fast and I received the suit within two days. And the customer service did respond me by email. They should speed up the process and shorter the time between order placed and order shipped."

Terrible!

"I ordered two items on the 5th December, neither of which have arrived. They keep telling me one has been delivered but the tracking reference is for a parcel delivered to Oley in Pennsylvania. I live in Katy, Texas! The other one seems to be lost in the netherworld of parcel tracking. Swim2000 do not know where it is. Seems like they don’t have a clue about how to run a successful online business.

When I emailed to chase them up I was told both parcels had been delivered when they clearly had not. Spoke with my mailman and he had not had the parcels. They then started suggesting that I was being dishonest! Calling customers names, ignoring emails and unhelpful staff seems to be a regular occurrence. Avoid at all costs - a very disturbing experience.

False advertising

"Dishonest company. I ordered for the first time and they advertised 10% off and free shipping over $49. My order was over $200 and they still charged $9.99 for shipping. They also tried to tell me I have ordered from them before and took off the 10% discount. I canceled my order since I never ordered there before and never will. They also sent a rude email which tells me they don’t care about getting new costumers. Stay away from these false advertisers. "

Zero customer support

"Ordered Nike swim goggles and they sent me a pair that looked used!! The internal part of the glass was damaged. They don't want the item to be returned (trying to dissuade me with a chlorine test), and they want me to send the goggles paying for the shipment."

STAY AWAY - Rude and insolent owners

"STAY AWAY!! Dishonest business owner couple Bruno and Isabella Diederichs. Rude beyond belief answers to legitimate concerns, on top of that tries to bait and switch charge up your Credit card after the sale.

Really?? Calling adult honest and friendly customers names because of issues on their own website - shocking. They own the business and answer to nobody, and will go out of their way to give you a bad experience, with bonus insults afterwards.

We had previously done business with them and had no complaints - all of a sudden their practices change. We cancelled order and went with another better supplier and respectfully advise you to do the same.

Note - 49 yo YMCA parents, never posted a negative review before - please do not support this business, there are better options out there.

This is their email response to a legitimate concern about using promo codes on their website (needless to say we placed order elsewhere for our team):
