"ordered 4 antennae, they would not work with our tv's, hookups not correct with dish. returned 4 antennae, warehouse said they only received 2. only received credit for 2. had a hard time getting credit for the 2 that i did get credit for. will not buy from again."

"Was a flawless process. I read some of the previous reviews about issues with stock being available. So I emailed Sureneeds.com and asked if my product was available. They replied within 2 hours that is was. I ordered it, and received the product on time and without issue. I ordered a Blu-Link Universal Remote. They had the best price at the time, according to Google Shopping.

I would order from them again, but would recommend emailing the seller to see if it's in stock first.

"Was a bit disappointed in their inventory system. When I ordered my item, it said that it was in stock. And then I got an e-mail notifying me that the item would not ship for another 1-2 weeks because it was out-of-stock. I'd like to see them improve their inventory system."

"Don't Bother Wasting Your Time with SureNeeds! I place an order for a JVC XVN652S DVD player that was indicated as IN STOCK. The next day I received notice that the order would ship in 1-2 WEEKS. Then 4 days later I received notice the item as OUT OF STOCK and the order was cancelled. This experience was just a waste of my time and this goes for this online store as well. Stay Away. This store deserves a 0 out of 5 rating."

"I purchased a CoolIT Systems USB Beverage Chiller from sureneeds.com, here is my experience in doing so:

Initally I was somewhat hesitant from purchasing at sureneeds.com because of the "fradulent" look of the website. Some of its products are missing accurate desciptions/photos, and it does slightly resemble some other sites I have been in contact with which were fradulent. However, it had the lowest price anywhere on the product I was looking to buy, the CoolIT Systems USB Beverage chiller. They were selling it for a much lower price than any other site (which in itself can be a red flag), so I checked reseller ratings. It had a good report with resellerratings, so I decided to take my chances with it. I purchased the product on a Saturday, and promply recieved an order confirmation email. On Monday I did not recieve a shipping confirmation, (the website did not say they provided one) so I was a little worried. I decided to wait one more day before contacting the company. The next day the tracking email had been sent, and it turned out the item had also arrived! I paid for Fedex Ground shipping, and receieved the item Overnight! The item had to be shipped from PA to a remote location in MA (usually takes and extra day from regular MA), so it shipped Monday and arrived Tuesday! Most packages that arrive at my house from PA take 3-6 days to arrive, and this came Overnight! I was impressed! The product arrived brand new (factory sealed) and undamaged, and works great! As it turns out, sureneeds.com IS a drop-ship operation as they ship from D&H Distributing CO's (there distributors) warehouses. This would explain the fast shipping, because warehouses can often ship things MUCH faster than other locations. In any case, I am extremely happy with my order from sureneeds.com, and will not hesitate to shop there again.

"Low prices, but beware. Placed an order, heard nothing. Three days later I emailed to see if the order had shipped and was advised by email that one item was "out of stock". This despite the fact that the website always listed this item as "in stock". It is clear that this vendor does not update its website. "Customer service" gave me the following choice, "Wait one to two weeks for the out-of-stock item, or, ship what they had and in stock and pay additional shipping charges (3/4 of the price of the "out of stock item") when it was "in stock". Do yourself a favor, spend a few extra dollars initially with a vendor that either knows its inventory and doesn't penalize the customer for its failings."

"Originally I was a bit leery about ordering from sureneeds based on the look of the site and the mega list of products in the left-hand nav (none of which were toys, by the way, which is what I was looking to order). I inadvertently surfed in when I googled a specific product name, and was very surprised at the low cost at which sureneeds was offering the toy -- much lower product cost than the "low-price guarantee" toy site that I was originally thinking of ordering from, and with much lower shipping costs. The product page I was looking at didn't even have a picture, so I hesitated at first, thinking that I was building myself up for disappointment. I fully expected them to email me to say that they had made a mistake on their site, but that didn't happen. Instead, I received the toys on Wednesday morning, even though I had placed my order on Sunday night! I was very pleased!

There were some worrisome aspects to my purchase, however. First, like I said, I surfed into a page that didn't have any product pictures or much of a description, just the model number and name of the toy. Second, when I went back to look for the product page myself, I couldn't find it in the mess of tech-related products that seem to be sureneeds' core offerings. Finally, I never received a tracking number, though the receipt they emailed said that I would get one when the order shipped, so I thought about calling their customer service number to make sure they received my order and that I was, in fact, going to receive it. But, just as I was about to call, UPS showed up at my door with my package.

All in all, despite the somewhat sketchy nature of the site, I'm very happy with sureneeds.com!

"Item delivered as ordered. These were cables so packaging did not matter but it seemed more generally adequate for a typical electronics item. They did take an extra day to process the order so don't expect Newegg-level service but otherwise was a very nice transaction."

"Ordered an external hard drive and PCI card to connect it online at 8AM PST 18 Dec 06. Order timing was ample to ensure same day shipping and next day delivery by any reasonable standard.

I paid $60, which I thought was excessive, for next day service, offered by Sureneeds.com with no caveats. I received the items the following Wednesday evening, which is clearly second day service.

A phone call to Sureneeds revealed the items were not shipped until Tuesday, a day after the order was placed. A request for a refund of the difference between overnight and second day service was cavallierly refused, with no apology.

The response on the phone was "we do the best we can", and "it shipped Tuesday, and you'll get it Wednesday - that's next day". Excuse me? It's certainly NOT the next day after I ordered it, which is the kind of service I *always* get when I select "next day" with any of the well-known etailers.

I won't be shopping at Sureneeds.com again. Not only did they fail to meet their shipping obligation, but they just didn't care.

I believe this is a drop-ship operation, and that no inventory is on-hand. Orders are relayed to distributors as they are received, and further, that once Sureneeds places the order with a distributor, it may, in fact, have no control over how soon a shipment is made.

Notwithstanding, here's a little bulletin for Sureneeds: Don't commit to shipping modes beyond your control. When things go wrong, it makes people unhappy.
