"I saw this page, that together with the fact that my previous sukkah was from sukkahoutlet, I tried to cancel the order. I called in several times before getting through (happens to be a problem by them) one guy said he'd get my message to the proper people. I called back, got another guy, he claimed I couldn't back out from the order. Yet a 3rd guy called me and tried to allow me to see that they're working for me. So I get the sukkah, put it together. Now, right off the bat had to dislikes 1) they gave ropes instead of straps 2) the top part is made like a curtain, very hard to get the rods through. So I put up the sukkah, then 3rd problem, the rain came even before sukkot and the wind blew the decorative flap onto the skach causing mold to both by the time I got to it. Then over sukkot the whole skach molded. Had to also watch the flaps to make sure no more damage accured. After several calls, got a hold of a lady who said they'd replace the parts. The emails didn't get noticed by her tell my call today. When taking apart the sukkah, a curtain slide ripped from the material being sown to close together. I called in, after half a day of emailing & phone calls, finally got the same lady. She claimed that they sent a fully functional sukkah and I couldn't return it yet they'd replace the parts. So I'll give half way stars, to people said they'll send out new parts (yet seen to happen) + sukkah came with all pieces, but I'll take away two since the sukkah seems to me to be a very bad design (she claimed people are building them all over the place & not having the same issues) plus you just can't get through to them. I will not order a canvas sukkah from them again, yet there were a few points that were good, sukkah came fully intact before sukkot, Ext.
An update: at this point I have a certificate that says they'll replace the bad parts for the following year, just to get back to them in the future, closer to sukkot to collect the parts that were damaged or rotted."

"I am writing to express how awful my experience has been dealing with SukkahDepot.com From the time of delivery of the sukkah it has been one hassle after another with extremely poor customer service. First of all, the wrong size canvas was sent. Second of all, the bamboo supports for the schach arrived WITHOUT the screws/pins to join them together. As a side point, I would NEVER have known that the bamboos had to be joined with pins had I not called hours before the holiday, when assembling the sukkah, to find out how the bamboos were used since NO WHERE in any of the instructions is this unusual and elaborate process discussed. Not having the support bamboos at 8:30 PM on the night before the holiday put me in a last minute position where I needed to go to Lowe's and buy 2 x 4 beams to do the job. Since this is for outdoor use I was advised to buy Pressure Treated Wood at 10 dollars a beam. When I called to ask for a refund of this money since this company did not do their due diligence, I was told that the most I would be refunded was $25.00. I bought 6 beams. That's $60.00. When the manager came to the phone he was utterly rude and arrogant. Without even affording me the courtesy of hearing my situation, he immediately and bluntly told me he was "not negotiating with me", since his cost for 2 x 4 s is less than Lowes, even though his company put me in the position to have to purchase these 2 x 4 beams at the last minute. When I told him that, as a dissatisfied paying customer I did not appreciate his speaking to me this way, and that I would trash his company on line, he simply and abruptly HUNG UP ON ME. This is no way to treat your customers. The sukkahs are grossly overpriced to begin with and that I can live with since it is for a mitzvah, but the customer service ROTS to the core. The sales representative had a short memory when it came to the order, he answered the phone with lukewarm enthusiasm at best, he didn't pay attention to details in completing the order properly, and this particular manager was an arrogant, obnoxious ****. And I have not even mentioned yet that the sechach arrived with BLACK MOLD on it. Sukkah Depot is a garbage company with garbage employees who should care more about their customer service and product because they are supposed to be frum Jews. Perhaps they are the only show in town or maybe one of a few shows in town so the monopoly on Sukkah production enables them to behave like boors who have forgotten that it is the paying customer who keeps food on their tables. Perhaps they should learn some meschlechkeit, especially during these holiest days of our calendar and treat their customers with more respect, thoughtfulness, dignity and appreciation. These people really need to step back a week to Yom Kippur and do their viduy/teshuvah all over again. Especially the ROTTEN MANAGER! I think anyone reading this review gets the picture loud and clear. SukkahDepot.com ROTS! "

"I purchased a sukkah from Sukkah depot and when I opened the box it was missing an 8 foot pole, I then called up the company and got someone who told me first I was correct that there should be 7 eight foot poles and not the 6 that were in the box, I was put on hold then 5 minutes later was told that I do not need the extra pole any more and the design changed. When I then told them the instructions say I should have 7 eight foot polls I was told they did not update the instructions and it would be fine. I then build it with out the pole and low and behold today the sukkah fell down and fell apart.

Pieces are now bent, the canvas it totally dirty and the skach is ripped in different parts.

"Good product, bad service. Received sukkah missing parts. I have been going back and forth for over a year with numerous representatives. Now they will not respond. They will gladly take your money, but after that you are on your own. Can't get a return phone call. Good luck getting any help."

"I bought a Sukkah after being promised on phone it will get before Sukkot. A day after they called and said it will not arrive before Sukkot. When I tried to call them and cancel the order they never answer - only after an hour on the phone managed to get someone. No Sukkah for Sukkot and a really bad feeling. I wish I have bought from the competitors."

"Bought a sukkah from them for $1600 cash. Salesperson was Ezra. Later found out that it was missing parts. Called multiple times and calls were not returned. Finally they said that I would have to drive 1 hour to pick up a part they forgot to include. Everyone refused to connect me to the person who sold it. Awful people who only care about the sale and not the customer."
