Awful purchasing experience

"Tried to purchase a (relatively expensive) networking product from them, had several difficult rounds of back and forth with their support staff over email, called to sort it out, but got nowhere. Had challenges requesting a refund. Staff were incredibly rude as well.

Ultimately went with another vendor who sold us the product for 20% less and shipped quickly + painlessly.

0/10. I would recommend going with another vendor whenever possible. Streakwave just isn't worth the pain.

"Never answers phone, emails can take up to 3 o 4 days to respond. If you buy something, can delay a month to be Shipped.

Not recommended.

"First time buying experience was terrible. Demanding front/back pictures of credit cards and drivers license with sensitive info like SSN, donor status, personal photo and scan-able license bar-code etc is unacceptable. "

"A name like 'Jeremiah' should speak for itself. Doesn't understand out of state tax exemptions, uses CA snobbery to project a feeling of superiority. Happy to take out business elsewhere."

"Wish I had an option of -stars. Had a rep. come over and access our business for a new phone system. He made out order list, we spent over $4000.00 and when the company came to install system it would not work with our analog line. Streakwave would not take return. Finally agreed to take them back, when they made a credit on our card we only received $2000.00."

BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT BUY FROM STREAKWAVE

"Bought over $2k of products.
Products were defective (throughput doesn't deliver). Tried to return, and the company makes you jump through hoops to fill out a RMA. After all that work, the company would issue only a store credit, and not a refund.

Who the hell in their right mind would ever buy from them?

"We had a similar issue with the Latin sales agent in the California San jose office. Except I think her name was Meagan but it could be Maggie. My purchasing agent called 3x in reference to a B.O we had not received and the Latin Sales Rep said we had never called and that she needed a copy of her DL. We tried to explain that we had already paid for the order and were inquiring in reference to a BO. She yelled something about due diligence and that she is detailed oriented and hung up the phone. Three weeks later we got in touch with a rep at their Brazil office who treated us very professionally and courteously and everything runs smoothly now for all of our South American manufacturers. I recommend steering far clear from their San Jose Latin rep. Unless you embrace incompetence, being treated rudely, and consistently talked down to. Probably the most pathetic customer service i have ever encountered. She should be a spokesperson for how not to speak to people. Who is her hiring manager was a topic of conversation in our office for a week, Still brings us giggles and an occasional chuckle."

"Worst customer service ever! I called in and had the unfortunate mishap of speaking with Maggie who is technologically clueless. She was condescending, abrasive, rude, it was just a horrible experience. My company needed about $75,000 in equipment and we took our business elsewhere. If she was not capable of answering my questions why did she not just transfer me to someone who could? We had her on speaker phone and were astounded in reference to how she was speaking to us. She was actually getting frustrated with us because she could not answer our questions. Unbelievable."

"Streakwave has been my default place to go for networking gear for the past two years. I go elsewhere only when they don't carry a certain item, or when they are out-of-stock on something urgent. I have bought 100+ routers and radio units from them in that period, as well as numerous networking accessories. It's rare when anybody else can touch their prices. All my account managers have been helpful and professional. The problems I have had with them are no worse than those I have with other sources I have dealt with, and a lot better than some."

"Great pricing but horrible customer service and return policy. I received a dead unit and Streakwave would not offer to RMA the unit or pay for shipping to return the unit to the mfg. It took the mfg 3 weeks to get me a working unit. You are as well off buying on E-Bay."
