"I ordered a regular Slot-T adapter and also a Slot-T Dell GX-1 adapter. I sell some Dell GX-1s sometimes and was hopeful to be able to tell people they had some upgrade possibilities.
At first the Dell Slot-T wouldnt boot..it would just say something like "this cpu is invalid for this system"....I know what you are thinking..."get the latest BIOS"..WRONG. I already had the A10 BIOS...I had to go back to the A07 bios, lol. I think I saw that here in one of these reviews. After that it booted up no problem.
(I also had a different adapter that was to go from socket 370 fcpga to tualatin or from ppga to fcpga...it didnt work either until I went to A07...just a heads up)
Stratton Computers would do well to post a little blurb about the A07 bios thing...save us and probably them some headaches.
other than that small issue I am quite satisfied. Order arrived quickly, well packed etc.

I have ordered 2 UpgradeWare GU370 adapters. I had problems paying with Yahoo so i was contacted and explained all the possible shipment methods and I got the bill with the cheapest shipment abroad available to my paypal account.
Mr. Kevin Stratton was very nice and waited all the time needed from me to get that account working and pay that bill maybe one week later. Nothing like you may hear from other comanies about cancelling your order or smth...
The adapters got shipped and eventhough I have not been notified that they shipped, when I wrote an email to him asking about the order status - he was very nice and answered my email confirming that it was already shipped, and he was not in the office already.
