"The beauty of this store seems to be that they carry a large variety of products, have extremely competitive prices, and yet aren't some huge conglomerate that has bought up most all of the competing online businesses (read: Guitar Center).

On everything I was looking for, Steve's Music Center had at least as good, but mostly better prices than bigger online shops.

They don't have everything. But when I need, I look there first. If they don't have it, only then do I go looking elsewhere.

I like thinking I'm helping support a smaller, independent business - especially if it's not costing me anything more to do it, and they seem to take pride in doing good business.

Lastly, even if it turns out it was just a form letter, it was very nice to receive such a personal sounding "thank you" email. It really gave a sincere sense of appreciation for my having done business with them.
A very nice touch added to an already exemplary shopping experience."
