I ordered some merchandise from the store on December 12 now here it is December 26th and no call or even a shipping confirmation yet. "Steam is a great site and honestly don't know why its got such a low score. i have never had a problem with steam although some of the prices of games can be a bit steep it's still great and when deals are going on you just can't beat it. When purchasing a game it's quick and easy, if you did what a refund there is a 2 hour limit, so if you play the game longer than 2 hours you can't get it and it does take 24hours for it to process, apart from that you will get your money either card or steam wallet mattering on how you paid or what you choose. "
"i really do think steam is not that bad but the only problem is that i think that Valve does not really pay any atention to the community like the game Counter-Strike Global Offensive they would verry much rather put in more cases to earn money then actualy update the game to make it better on the other hand steam is really use full for games maybe a littile bit pricey but thats fine and i have nothing against the cases in any of there games but they dont need to forget about updating the game"

The service quality is horrible and the only reason I still use steam is because of all the games I have purchased in the past when steam worked much better even on my crappy Toshiba laptop. Now I have a good cyberpower pc with a strong graphics card, cpu, 16GB ram , yet steam works even worse then it did before.

"Steam adds absolutely zero value to purchased software, and is worse than a waste of both the consumer's and seller's money. I say "worse" because a game I purchased became essentially unusable after Steam updated itself today. I tried to verify the cache for saved files (recommended to fix problems of this nature) and the progress bar remained on zero.
The only positive thing I can say is that I did get customer support for a similar issue a couple of years ago, but I will not purchase any item for which Steam is required. That is, if you sell entertainment software and Steam is required to run it, that's a deal-killer up front.
In addition, installation of games required me to lower the security setting on my computer firewall. This results in a mediocre rating for product delivery."
